I have a 2in 1 washer I got new parts for the washer and it still doesn't work the codes are still flashing sense ,soak wash to done with the lid liight on and then falashes done. I already ordered the control board and the lid lock please help me

Is there a download able file for that tech sheet? I just opened mine up and a freaking mouse chewed it into a million pieces.

I can't figure out how to figure out the codes. F7 (same as video) i don't know the E code. It is the done button that is flashing

Mine is error code f5e3 it says like won’t lock or unlock. Ive already replaced the locking mechanism. Any tips?

Codes Explained Simpler: Sense =8 Soak=4 Wash=2 Done=1 Example: lid lock+soak + wash=f6

I have code F2E3 and F7E1. Washer makes whining noise but will not spin. Any help is appreciated

Ben, I have ran the error mode but would get the top 4 (Sense, Soak, Wash, Done) to blink twice and then it shows no error code. So, from here I tried to do a factory reset. Everything seemed to start just as you explained, but now it is stuck in a sequence of blinking lights, which started about 30 seconds after the reset began. Each of the top 4 blink once, from Sense to Soak, to Wash, to Done and then keep going in a repetitive fashion. The Lid lock is lit the whole time. Any idea that might help?

Ben, I broke the lid lock. Would not lock anymore. I bought a new one, put it in. Still nothing. Error code F5 E3. Same exact washer. I legit have no idea what to do! 😭

Saved me the trouble of driving 80miles with my washer to get it looked at just to find out my drain line was too low and siphoning water causing a fault. I had a old washer before that I salvaged from 3 broken ones. When it went out I decided to buy a brand new one for the first time and had problems right away and a few weeks of trying to figure out the issue this video is what helped me finally fix it. Keep it up much appreciated.

Pretty sure it’s a shift connector replacement I need. Any idea where that is - up where the manual was or behind the larger panel?

Thank you for this info. I have this exact unit and it will not run a cycle. It says error code F7E1. Ben, are you familiar with a fix for this code? I have tried everything I can do to try and reset the unit. But nothing will make this unit work.

You're awesome Ben. I just bought a 2020 Maytag MVW7230HC0 used. The tech sheet is missing, can you recommend a site or whatever where I could get a copy of one. This machine has an LED display. It doesn't have the six pilot lights

HELP!! I have that same washer. I ran the diagnostic test. It flashed the same lights as the example washer: Soak Wash Done Lid
Ok so in between flashing this error code it also flashes just: DONE. But does that just mean DONE or is that another error code?

Ok I have a Maytag front load giving me trouble error code F 05, which tech sheet says heating element/sensor error. I replaced element, heat sensor and the CCU. Still getting same F05 error code in the diagnostic test.
Any ideas?

Hi Ben! hope you see this comment. My 13 year old Amana refrigerator is on the fritz. It's worked great and i would hate to get rid of it over a simple issue. I'm kinda handy and would like to try and do diagnose/fix myself preferablywith some guidance. Could I convince you to do a virtual diagnose/ repair with me? Dumbest diagnostics yet. Heaven for is they keep them the same. Loved the VMW prior diagnostics this one stinks!

Last week at the dump i scored an old Speed Queen dryer for my first and last house. All it needed was a cleaning and a patch in the lint filter. The washer is a Gibson Heavy Duty that works but i know nothing about them. Old is good, older is more gooder.

Amazing how our 40 year old washer has only needed $5 of parts for new cams and will very likely outlast these washers by another 40 years. Plastic clockwork. It's not that complicated.
