This game has gotten pretty cheap, probably definitely worth having in your library for just a few bucks. I will probably try it out tonight.

I recently just started playing and I'm enjoying it a lot more than I thought I would. Got it for just $5.00, so I couldn't be mad even if I did think it was bad.

I agree with what you said about the story being a little lackluster nd everything being narrated slowing it down thats why i couldnt get into it cause the main thing i look for in the game is how good the story nd how memorable characters are cause i like getting lost in the story as well not just the game

Dude. I played this game for 3 days. I tried to get use to and like it but the entire game world is just a bunch of nonsense thrown together. Go ahead, play it. And you will see what I mean. Nothing makes any sence.

I believe it's the most underrated game because today is the first time I knew about it.

I started playing this right after finishing Horizon Forbidden West and it felt laughably bad at first but I ended up somewhat enjoying it.. I’d give it a 6/10

I fricken loved this game so much. I almost never wanted it to end. Its not perfect. But hey its still very good.

Who else here from getting this from humble bundle

I got this game last December and didn’t give it a proper try because I hated the dialogue(it still is terrible) but the game is still a pretty fun rpg. finding gear, upgrading, crafting and pretty cool fights with loads of different means of traversing, its not bad. but I only paid £1 and that was because I bought the mercenary class. for a free game its great fun, but I couldn’t imagine spending even £30 on this.

For not paying anything. This is a fantastic game. I rarely pay full price for most games nowadays but this is an indie gem that has HUGE potential in a future series

I’ve not been able to get into a game like this for a long time. It’s unique, the exploration. Like Jake said you can get lost in it. It’s a chill and fun game. If they’re a small team I tip my hat to them. Had a real god time playing this

This game has been such a wonderful breath of fresh air in the RPG Genre, and if anyone is interested in this game I'd highly recommend!!

I literally played this game for a few minutes then came for this video. I need to know what to expect. But ultimately I get a slight sly cooper feel😭

The same criticism of repetitiveness was lobbed at Mafia III, and I love Mafia III. Repetitiveness is soothing. If a friend was considering Biomutant, I'd first ask them if they like whimsical, anthropomorphic gibberish speakers. Then I'd ask if their preference is going in stealthy. Biomutant has a lot of whimsy and exclusively charging the battlefield.

This is one of my favorite games I have ever played

I JUST started playing Biomutuant....and ... I LOVE IT! THE CRAFTING.. MOVEMENT... MUSIC... VISUALS.. FIGHTS AND GUNPLAY ARE ALL GREAT! SOOO MUCH FUN!

it looks like fortnite, the fonts and colors are too similar, the light blue menu, idk it looks off

My loyalties lie with before you buy

I got it for free . I would have paid 5/8$ for it but that’s about it . I love the fighting mechanics . It’s also kid friendly . My son watches me play it … I like the teibe aspect and the choice etc. its entertaining, I’ve been playing for 4/5 hrs , it’s true about the perks . Guns too , a lot of choice , well 3 so far and a boomerang …

But I also like the concept and the look . Humans destroyed the oceans with oil and it created these beings loll cool little fantasy world

The only things I found to be blatantly scuffed were

1 climbing as it was like five times faster than the animation so it’s looks really unnatural

and 2 the fact that the creatures or other mutants I guess don’t just speak English

like if they aren’t going to be voiced then just do that but having them make a single repeated noise followed up by the narrator is just annoying and makes skipping the dialogue a must while also doubling the amount of skips you have to press in dialogue which is just a lot for what your going to be doing for the majority of the game other than exploring and fighting things.

And 3 not being able to spawn the mech outside of biohazard zones and most biohazard zones was a little weird like I get it for balancing but I also had a 100% crit and loot build so balance didn’t really seem that important over just making a fun game which I did really enjoy.

And 4 the different tribes eventually just got tedious doing the exact same thing over and over without change I kinda liked the random named enemy camps that you just ran in and killed the boss seemed like a better system than the outpost one.

And 5 actually the biggest scuffed thing would be how the game pauses or has a black screen after so many things,

like going from borderlands 3 to this game was jarring as that game was very fluid as you ran threw everything and didn’t encounter stopping everytime a mechanic was being introduced like the outpost missions had so many times it would stop the game and show you something was happening and then you’d have to acknowledge it by pressing a button to skip the cutscene and it would immediately do it again after like three seconds of gameplay and it would repeat that over and over till it would abruptly end….

The looting system is the same was you press to loot something then it’s shows you what you got and you press to stop seeing it and you repeat that everytime, I shouldn’t have to press twice to do one interaction that you do all the time it gets tedious. Also the getting a new fast travel animation is funny like the first couple times but it shouldn’t repeat the same dialogue and zoom out every time that’s kinda annoying.

They need to fix that and the language barrier for the next game to make it more immersing to the player like the world is really cool and the idea while being an obvious anti pollution thing has some good lore that wasn’t really well used

like oh here’s this tree and these things that live here and then you listen to the narrator every couple seconds till you finish the game. That gets annoying about an hour or two in and I played for probably like 15 hours to completion so i eventually started telling the narrator to duck off all the time which was kind of funny and was a core aspect of the game for me by the end of it


Overall I’d give this game like a 7/10 for fun the factor but like a 3/10 for the faction war stuff as it was super repetitive and seemed like more than it needed to be and finding side characters and uniques you pretty much have to look it up or you wouldn’t find most of the cool stuff in the game which is a little weird.

Lastly the karma system is pretty pointless as you can get 30 in light and dark by the end of the game on the same playthrough and get the best dark and light power aswell and the best light power is super useless while the dark one looks really cool but only works outside

I was going to buy this right now on Amazon for 20 bucks then saw it’s free on ps plus haha thank goodness for jake for a before you buy

I feel like I'm playing Destiny.

Playing the game right now about 2 hrs In and wanted to watch this video to see what Jake had to say. It's fun and I'm enjoying it so far. Not sure how long I will play it and I usually give up on sandbox games after about 10 hours due to family life and work.

Just got in on psplus and I must say this game would have x10 better without that fucking narrator is annoying as shit makes me feel like I'm playing little big planet

The graphics on ps4 are so bad
felt like playing a ps2 game
Combat is boring and all over the place just button mashing even my 4 years old baby can finish it with just mashing the controller buttons

Could be longer saw only 12 and a half hours should be more in my opinion anything above 20 bucks that’s only 12 hours is a trash price

Tl;dr looks pretty, boring to play
Repetitive missions, not one memorable character
