No nail nick?
You forgot to put in a nail nick and tang stamp
Great video! Love how you gave this old knife a new life. Why no nail nick?
Bellissimo cortellino si puo'acquistare uno uguale e dove?
I'm surprised you didn't clean up the other blade's . Thanks for sharing.
Punto. Ok. Saludos
Nice job on the new blade except the point profile is incorrect. A By Scout camp knife has a what I believe is called a drop point. Also, you should cut a thumb nail slot as in the original.
Old victorinox?
Le quitaste lo original la marca🥺
Outstanding!! Quick question, “Will you a vid on the complete cleaning and wood restoration?” I’m certain your audience will like that as well. What say you? Semper Fi

Why not cut a finger nail groove in the blade. Smh
Impressive work with that torch. Especially when you brought the blade color up to blue. Nicely done.
I can't believe he would take the time to make another but didn't clean up the rest of the pieces of the knife.
Nice, but I would have cleaned out that disgusting gunk on the internal space plates.
That's real nice the way you did that.
That's some fine workmanship.
Very nice and I like the fact you did not restore every part because an old knife like this needs to show it's age it's like a book telling it's stories and what it has seen in its life.
I have an old "corvo" from my late grandfather and i'd love to be able to do something like this.
You didn’t sharpen the screwdriver?
Ответитьnice work greetings from Buenos Aires. Argentina
But it was originally a with a spear point blade .
Dear Mr.
I have "Camillus pocket knife" in 1966. and restoring now.
As you know those pocket knives had spring(leaf spring? or something.),and have to make one. cause broke.
If you do this, what kind of steel you choose? stainless or 5160 steeel like this video.
Thanks,
From S.korean. viewer
Labor of love 😊
Nice Imperial. Never seen one like it.
Are you taking on new projects? I have a Remington RS3333 with a blade broken exactly like this one I would love to have repaired as it is very sentimental
I like that blade profile.
Great job. The Cub and Boy Scout knives are great knives. I have many of both the Imperial and Camillus models. Why didn’t you put a thumb nail cut in the blade? To each his own. Great work.
Did you get the closing of the blade to snap?
Nice knife that one.
Hi, how can I got a knife across to you for a blade replacement?
What a cool little knife.
Love that knife.lost mine in 2011 F5 tornado. Is it for sale?
The new blade looks great. But, it has NO SNAP!
Ответитьtoo mystakes
As a collector, it would be more important for me to preserve the mark than to make a new blade.
Overdid the temper, look for straw not purple.
Great work but blade profile is a little off, needs a nail notch and bigger tang to get more spring tension. I have not made any blades but replaced a few. I haven’t mastered a good looking nail notch, just used a dremel cutting wheel, effective but ugly.
Travail ni fait ni à faire 🐷
What type of steel?
So the first thing you do is skip taking handle off
A knife blade does not become hard just by annealing, for hardening the blade must be surrounded by carbon so that the iron absorbs the carbon and thus turns from iron to steel.
