ОтветитьI have been following her plan to the letter for 2 mos and NOT lost an ounce, actually gained 0.1 pound. Obviously my body is different than hers but there has to be more answers. Wish I knew what they were.
ОтветитьI hear a LOT OF BAD INFO HEAR. If you are say 190LB and start fasting and in 9 days like top comment suddenly 6.5lb lighter about 183.5. You did not lose 6.5lb. It will mostly come back. You have literal poop in you and food in you, when you eat less you have less in you. Which means you weigh less. If you go back to regular diet for 3 days most will come back. Just remeber you are losing fat, but not as much as the scale initially says.

ОтветитьI have done IF for a year and lost all the fat on my legs, butt, belly, chest, neck. Its the only method that gets me lean and sharp looking. It also makes you eat less and less overtime which is great.

ОтветитьOne very sad reality is this…. Intermittent fasting is not magic, it’s simple, if you eat leas you will gain less and lose more weight but one of the most important things about the intermittent fasting is that if you lose huge amounts of weight around 6lbs or 5lb which is like 10-12 kilos…. Your skin will loosen up which won’t go that fast, it will take time for your skin to morph back but tbh… i would prefer to have loose skin than the fear of a heart attack 😅

I always doubted this as a realistic way to lose weight and maintain the weight loss...until I tried it. I've been trying to lose the last 10 pounds of my pregnancy weight gain for 16 years - yes, my daughter just turned 16. I'm a Mom of four and I just assumed that this was the way it was going to be and at my age losing weight is all but impossible. I'm stunned and thrilled to say not only did I lose 10 pounds, but I'm down 13 pounds and am at my high school weight and I've never felt better (108 pounds!). I just turned 57 and feel like I'm in my 30's and it wasn't nearly as hard as I thought it would be. I'm completely sold!

ОтветитьI made gluten-free pasta salad the last two days I’ve eaten it breaking my fast I’m telling you…It punched me right in the gut, I got a sugar spike from it horribly and just took a fat nap It’s the type of carbs too because other times I broken my fast with a big bowl of cantaloupe,and it actually gave me more energy I almost felt euphorically amazing 😅

ОтветитьI literally started IF on a Thursday, and was eating one meal a day and lost 5 pounds by that Monday. One meal was an un-seasoned tilapia fillet and some rice, or a baby spinach salad with walnuts and craisins and only drinking water. Can't wait to see how much I lose by the end of the month.

ОтветитьI had always look at my body to be never over 112 lbs. but when I went on the scale and slowly saw it was going up to 110 to 112 to 114 I was like “nope…get the f back down!”
I gotta admit I eat my works junk food every day and finally decided enough is enough. For a week I’ve said no to their food which is hard to do. I munch on it any time I got the chance but now I only eat at 9 am and 5 pm.
Pretty badass to say “no” to temptations but you get that “sobriety chip” of not bending to your past choices and moving forward with your deal!

ОтветитьI noticed that it sometime also works when eating more carbs/kcal. I got stocked on 1000 kcal and 50 carbs and it didnt work, but when I increased to 100 gr. carbs and 1400 kcal I suddenly lost weight every day! Unbelievable, so you have to find your way in what works for you. With 1000 kcal my body gets in starving mode and I wont lose any weight anymore, even though I am to "big" and do keto with 18/6 IF....increasing with 400 kcal/day, I am loosing weight.

ОтветитьSoooooo jealous of those results. I have higher estrogen, lower testosterone, poor methylation, and issues apparently with my liver my dr says. Im eating low carb and doing intermittent fasting, 16-24 hrs fasts for the first two weeks of my cycle, breaking my fasts correctly- the most i can lose is 1 lb per month. Ladies especially should know that the results can be small and slow if they have other issues going on. But that a loss is still a loss even if it is small!! I lost 3” on my waist in 7 months. For reference.
ОтветитьI lost 10 lbs 2 weeks 20-23 hours! These hours my body chosen, I never feel hungry even when I didn’t do fasting before. So this fast felt normal to me. I ate once a day but I eat less than 5 carbs, protein and meat/ salmon combine with cottage cheese . Water lime with ginger

ОтветитьI can’t find any time indication as to when it is ok to eat carbs after breaking a fast. If I break the fast with a broth or egg salad, how long do I need to wait to eat something which may spike insulin? Does anyone know?

But my weight loss has stopped. I'm still fasting but my weight is still the same. It’s getting to hard to lose weight now. What should I do??

ОтветитьAchieving amazing results is definitely possible with IF.
BUT, fasting is only half the equation. The 2nd half is actually eating an appropriate amount of calories. For most ppl this is going to be something close to your bmr adjusted for activity level.
Do BOTH of these and voila
So the one thing I can stomach on an empty stomach which is toast is a big no no? 😭😭

ОтветитьI have been doing internittent fasting for 4 weeks and I lost 3kg. I love it. I also have a “cheat day” which means I have one day not doing fasting as my stomach craves to eat during my fasting hours. But I also do 24 hrs fasting after my cheat day. It was hard at first but my body got used to it. I feel really healthy even though I still eat ice cream, pizza, cake and candies during my eating windows. I drink lemon sparkling water i stead of sodas. Try it!
