ОтветитьHi all,Can any one tell the difference between useradd and adduser
ОтветитьReally super tutorial, it was helpful for me
ОтветитьDoes this config work with domain user also?
ОтветитьI am writing this comment before watching the video.. Your explanation is very impressive
ОтветитьThis video is very useful to me. Thanks from side. Well done keep doing.
ОтветитьOne question: Why you put chmod 777 for the home of kumar in the end of this video? The patern is 755. And if you want to ascend privileges the first thing the person will do is create a kind of malicious script file in this directory with 777. No chance for the sudo file when you have a kind of root script.
ОтветитьThanks i am able to understand what you teach and it will be helpful someday for me
ОтветитьHow funny cc u used ....is it indian english !!! ha ha ha ha ga
ОтветитьIn the end, when you created a user named "Kumar", added to the group dba which restricted the CHMOD command, but yet it executed successfully, WHY IS THAT?
Ответитьhats of you sir
ОтветитьHi,
Thanks for the video, I have a doubt. Is it possible to run commands which is not available in /usr/bin and /sbin. suppose /etc/ shadow.... Etc. Is it possible to execute using sudo command. Is it mandatory to add user into wheel group to access custom commands. U added a user kumar and his primary group is dba and secondary group is wheel. is it wheel group required to access custom commands.suppose if we add user into dba group and that user is not belongs to wheel group so it is not possible to access access custom commands using sudo?
Excellent tutorial! Well explained!
ОтветитьCan you please show how to achieve this
1. Create user A and set this user’s shell so that only this user can change the password.
2. Ensure that user B is able to manage passwords for all users, but not the user root.
Not many people explain how to create a blacklist of commands. This video helped me by showing an example. Thank you.
