I love the goose neck because the style and the way it pours…. When I pay for expensive things I love to enjoy it without the rush ❤
ОтветитьExcellent video. Very informative. Great channel Jeffrey!
ОтветитьI'm wanting some that I can also take with me on road trips to use in a hotel, or even in my SUV with an inverter. The STAGG seems to pack bigger and might be fragile. The Corvo looks like a better choice for me.
Ответить"With more speed, we lose control." Let this be our lesson to adopting new technologies.
Thanks for the great video.
One concern is the lack of speed in reaching a boil…I have a copper Simplex kettle (with special base for use on gas stoves) which takes around 1.5 - 2 minutes to reach a boil. The reason I am considering the Corvo is I don’t have to keep it on my stove as with a kettle. Not liking that it takes almost twice as long to boil v. Doing it the “old fashioned” way. LOL. DO like that I can set the temp for special teas, such as green and yellow that need to be way below the boil.
ОтветитьGreat video! I was on the fence about which kettle to get. Going with the Corvo, as I do a press pot of coffee in the morning, and then switch to black or green teas in the afternoon. Since I am a chemist, got the “pour control thing” down pat! LOVE the quality of Fellow products.
ОтветитьThey're very slow, and if you need to boil, you're be there a while while the temp gauge thing decides what to do about that. So much money for a kettle that can't easily boil. :(
Ответитьthanks so much
ОтветитьI research on this EKG gooseneck kittle and some people like and some don't, the one customer who I read comment about the product and wasn't happy at all, didn't work the way it should have worked, also very expensive, I was going to purchase this item but am glad I didn't,
ОтветитьThat was an excellent video. Thank you!!
ОтветитьI switched to the Corvo after my Stagg broke. I was quite disappointed by the pour quality of the Corvo, though. Where the triangular spout connects to the base, there is a kind of ‘step-down’ that makes it ‘stutter’ if you try to pour slowly. It annoyed me so much that I filed away that step-down. Would recommend this hack :)
ОтветитьI really love my Corvo, but this video makes me feel like I need a Stagg too. 😂
ОтветитьI got the stagg as a Christmas present and I'm loving it! I used to work in a tea shop that used brewista artisans, and I prefer their pour ever so slightly (higher range of pour speeds from one kettle), but the way you set the temperature of the stagg/corvo is so much nicer to use and doesn't make any obnoxious beeping (always hated that with the brewista)
I was curious about the corvo, but I'm glad I have the stagg in the end.
Great video!
