估计是别克真的玩明白了中国市场了吧，提高整体水平，尽可能压低成本，取得一个相对平衡的点，加上合资企业可以适当的通过公权力去拓展销售渠道，让销售网点大范围的铺开，别克的竞争力这几年有所下降，一个是电动汽车的压力，一个是中国国内的品牌的压力，还有就是别克的产品线有些单一，且更新换代太慢了，比如君威，大概有接近5年没有换代了，消费者都是喜欢新鲜事物的不是吗？

In the US, Buick is seen as a car marketed primarily to senior citizens. The cars have very boring and bland styling and are designed more for comfort than visual appeal. It's too bad because Buick used to make cars that younger buyers would want (Grand National, for example).
I just saw a video of the new Wildcat concept yesterday. If Buick heads in this direction, I would be very interested in buying one of their vehicles. But not for anything that they currently make. Also sounds like Buicks in China are more appealing than Buicks in the US.

I own 2 68 Rivieras had a 69 but i didnt have no where to keep it so it got towed years later i was looking for parts and someone told me that theres one in a junk yard about 40 miles away from my place and i found the 69 Riviera GS that was towed i never thought i would see it again

I bought a 2014 buick enclave last year and it's been the best car a ever had, luxurious, reliable, great suspension, very quiet, my experience has been just great

love how misleading this is, just like every other western news. did they just forget Volkswagen exist? Volkswagen is the best selling car in china, not Buick. also, almost every brand in china has done better there then their homeland. also, Buick does not sell Mercedes bmw or audi, those are sold by SAIC and their respective mother company, such s audi and VW etc. just because they work with the same Chinese company does not mean Buick or GM is selling those vehicles. very misleading video.

To be honest the Chinese buy anything and everything. Yeah, maybe Buick's status in China helped, but when you think about it there is no Buick anymore. Those are just Opels, Vauxhalls or whatever you want to call them with a Buick badge. And in the end if the US has a population of about 300 million, China has 5 times as many people. That is 1.45 billion. So if they say that they sold 200000 units in the US it is actually equal to 1 million in China. Unfortunately Buick has lost its identity which makes me very sad...

My uncle got Buick 60 year ago. I didn't know why he chose Buick while at that time in Thailand people drove mainly Fiat, Holden, even Mercedes, but Buick rarely seen on the street.
