Nice.
ОтветитьPerfect video. No senseless forward about what the video is going to be about - just jump right in and explain along the way. Short and sweet and VERY informative. Many thanks!
ОтветитьThank you. I used almost the same technique to make end tables and a coffee table out of hatches from a WW II Victory Ship complete with hardware, Steel bands and indented grab holds .
ОтветитьI have done this on oak but found that burning the wood first then light sanding with 220 grit accentuates the grain then stained and poly ! Did all the trim in my bathroom this way! Nice work
ОтветитьFantastic distressing job! I'm going to give your technique a try, but I'm not sure what you mean by using a "software brushes". There's a lot of similar looking "knot" wire wheels on Amazon. Is .020 steel wire considered soft or hard? Thanks for the video!
ОтветитьTo me that’s not distressed that’s highlighting the grain in the wood
ОтветитьThanks for sharing this video! It's perfect for what I need.
ОтветитьSimple, short and straightforward.
Thank you!
Wonder how this would look after doing the prep work but then using the vinegar and steel wool trick
ОтветитьI did something like this a month ago with plans from Stodoys.
ОтветитьThis is the best distressing work I've seen. Well done!
ОтветитьWhy don't you just buy the wood at home depot, you would save yourself a lot of trouble
ОтветитьWow it really turned out great!
ОтветитьJust get timber from the petrified forest...
ОтветитьA gentle sandblasting works well too
