What if you want to completely remove (not hide) an icon but the application doesn't provide a setting to remove it? To be specific, HP Pen Control

This explains existing in system and not new one that one may want. A new application is not showing up then there is no way.

Somewhat informative. However, it falls short of actually explaining how to add or remove icons not listed in the power>notification selection. I have gone as far as downloading something called RBTray, it works in the background, but it also fails to offer the programs I want in my notification area.

Very easy and quick to understand such tips...very nice keep it up.
