Thank you! I'd never played harmonics and was able to do it for the first time thanks to your video.
Ответитьthank
ОтветитьSo easy put any finger on any fret and don’t press a single string and then pick
ОтветитьTrying to learn blurry 😂 oh boy… and I’m not good at all but I know I can learn this
ОтветитьPolypia playing gods tutorial
ОтветитьThanx Tony!
ОтветитьHaha I'm at 2024 😊Thanks it seems! simple but very helpful.
ОтветитьOh Jesus,, thank you brother. I am from Asia nepal
ОтветитьCame here to learn how to play playing god ❤
ОтветитьEven with a clear explanation I didn't understand, finally got it though. Honestly seems even more like sorcery now that I've done it.
ОтветитьGreat job keep up the good work
ОтветитьThe song is Dazed and Confused by Led Zep on their first album.
ОтветитьMan I was practicing this for almost two hours without realizing it
ОтветитьThank you for this! A buddy of mine led me on a path here....
ОтветитьExcellent lesson!
ОтветитьAwesome
Ответитьare picks needed to play harmonics?
ОтветитьGot it instantly, great tutorial. I thought you had to do it "inside" the 12th fret, not "on" it
ОтветитьLiterally the first I have had this guitar. Immediately wanted to know how to do this because I thought it was so cool why not learn something neat. Honestly, I thought it was some high level technique that you had to practice forever until you got it, but no. It’s so much easier than I could’ve imagined once he said you could do it at the 12 fret I tried it and bam! I got it
You’re amazing bro
Merry Christmas
Thank you sir !!! clear explanations <3
ОтветитьWow AMAZINGGGGGG VIDEO🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
Ответитьbruh on the violin you have to nail harmonics and its painfully obvious if its even slightly wrong... you dont have frets as guidelines either
Ответитьive only been playing guitar for a month and a half and i thought i had harmonics all figured out when i pushed fully down right on the fret, but i now realize that, oh my god, i was so wrong
ОтветитьI think it’s Dazed and Confused, which I’m not now after your lesson. Thanks.
ОтветитьBeautiful harmonic on ELP's From The Beginning
ОтветитьI had a sneaking suspicion that 5th fret harmonics were harder to play. Thank you
ОтветитьLate to the party, I know, but....an even better example of a song opening with harmonics is Yes: 'And You and I'.
And you don't need to go back to the regular method of tuning for the B string, you can use the harmonic on the 4th fret of the G string against the 5th fret of the B string.
This was fucking awesome !! Thank you 🙏🙏
ОтветитьWhile the substance and pacing of your lesson are quite effective, it would help if you had a guitar with standard dot inlays to help beginning students locate the frets. I had a hard enough time the other day getting one of my students to locate the 12th fret by telling him it’s “the one with two dots,” so that he wouldn’t continue to count the frets up from the nut each time. (He insisted on doing that repeatedly 🤦🏽♂️). With your decorative inlays, the only frets I can identify at a glance (the sole purpose of dot inlays) are the third and the fifth, so I can imagine the trouble my student would have. I peeped this video so that I could help him find the natural harmonics, but I don’t know if I‘d recommend this video to him.
Also: just to make sure you’re communicating, I would not use the word “fret” as a verb right off without first defining it. In teaching my student natural harmonics, I had to tell him about 25 times not to “press down” on the fret before he followed what I was saying, so I’m pretty sure saying “don’t fret” would’ve been half as effective at best. 😐
You obviously know a lot about the guitar. But in 16 years of teaching I’ve learned that knowing how to teach what you know is the real challenge. In part, we must keep things as simple as possible to accommodate students of different skill levels, mental acuity, etc. I think that’s what teachers mean when they say certain students have taught them…and I’m learning all the time. 🙂 Keep at it. 👍🏼
Loved it ,thanks
ОтветитьDazed and confused, that’s the name.
Ответитьdidnt know what harmonics were till today, could do it in less than 5 minutes bc of u. thx🙏
ОтветитьLed Zeppelin song is Dazed and Confused
Ответитьnow im ready for polyphia tutorial
ОтветитьYou changed my life in just 2 minute sir🤣
ОтветитьVery clear, thanks a lot from France !
ОтветитьI don't know about Zeppelin, but Yes does great harmonics on Roundabout
ОтветитьMaybe iam a little confused, probably the case but the 2nd string of the 7th fret is F# or G flat. So how are we getting all harmonics at this location? Wouldn't the 10th fret be a better option? and if not then what qualifies as a good location? Only missing one Harmonic... then why not the 3rd Fret.
ОтветитьNice
Ответитьinstant sub, thank you man
Ответитьthank you so much for the help! this video was so helpful!
ОтветитьIt's at the start of the acoustic version of Psycho Killer too
ОтветитьSuch a good educational video. Thank you sir
ОтветитьThank you I am coming back to the guitar after a long hiatus. This was an invaluable reminder.
ОтветитьThanks for the lesson. One question: How do you change the pitch if you are only resting on 12 fret and picking the string?
ОтветитьJust ask & thee shall find ! THANK YOU!
ОтветитьGreat lesson thankyou.
ОтветитьThat is pretty cool! I had no idea. Like magic! Thanks Tony
Ответитьfirst 1 second, August Rush feels
