Don't be fooled by the term 'Art' lenses there is no such thing, it is marketing.

What a load of crap. Nikons crop body 35 and 50 f1.8’s are cheap, and very sharp. I own dozens of Nikon lenses.

@TheCameraStoreTV does Sigma 18-35mm f/1.8 have visible distortion and vignetting on Nikon D7500 camera?

Its been 5 years now and the most obvious change doesn't deal with the lens, but the Gopro video quality. Now we get stabilize video better than that gimbal straight out of the camera. Also, I just bought the lens new for $480 with the base and I'm excited to use it. Its been on my wish list since it came out.

Famous companies have confusing models, even the apsc series consists of many models.
For Nikon, the type of prime lens for apsc is small, insufficient. The artists are victims of Japan and company strategies, they produce ridiculous, strange machines, but important lens types are few, how can I write this logic, Japanese?

My favorite lenses are:
-Bending, less degrading.
- Lenses that notice details and color transitions in high light in detail.

Hey there, awesome review. Really thinking about buying this lens for my D5600.

What do you think about the Sigma 15-50mm f/2.8? If you had to made a decision and choose this one or that one, which would it be? I already have the Nikkor 50mm f/1.8.

Would be interesting to hear people's thoughts. Thanks.

I aggree, buying fx lenses is good even if you have no fx camera, BUT they are expensive as hell man, the FX kitlens is like €500

GUYS: DO THE LATEST FIRMWARE UPDATE FROM NIKON (1.04) TO YOUR NIKON D7200 AND GET THE ABSOLUTE BEST PERFORMANCE OF YOUR SIGMA ART 18-35!!! The issues that plagued the Sigma/D7200 is gone!!! I tried it many times and is razor-sharp anywhere in the focus group! do not get rid of your Nikon D7200 or Sigma 18-35 ART

Hi, i have a nikon D5300 aps c camera.. i am thinking to purchase a fx camera because i need that bokeh and low light videography.. Should I settle down for sigma 18-35 1.8 with my 5300? Or should I spend around 7200$ for a new fx cam..
What do you think will help in long run?

I currently have them manual Samyang 16mm f2.0 and I want to get Nikon 35mm f1.8 as well.
Do you recommend me to just get the 35mm for $200 beside the 16mm? Or do you recommend to sell my 16mm and buy the Sigma 18-35mm?

Superb video. I have Nikon D3300 with kit lens 18-55 f/3.5-5.6 VR2, 55-200 f/4-5.6 VR1 & 35 mm f/1.8G. I want to use Nikon 85 mm f/1.8G on my Nikon D3300 (1.5x APS-C) for candid shots. It will give me FOV(Field of view) of 127.5 mm. Before purchasing I want to find out how much room is required for me to shoot indoor, should I shoot with my 55-200 set at 85 mm or at 120 mm.

I'vebeen earning my living from photography for over forty years, and I've recently gone BACK to crop sensor from full frame, and don't regret it at all. There's a lot of mileage left in the aps-c format, and all the while there are cameras about like Canon's 80D/7Dii and Nikon's D7500/D500, I think that's going to continue for a LONG time. Also, many modern EF-S and AF-S lenses offer insane levels of performance for little outlay.

I noticed you shot the Sigma @ f16. I use this lens a lot for landscape, and f16 is its smallest aperture and I've yet to notice any diffraction. I shoot both on the 7D II, mainly for wildlife, and the 5D III for just about everything else, but this lens gives me a brilliant wide (29mm on a 1.6 crop) to mid (52mm) lens. I know the maths don't really work out like this but it's a fair guide. Out of all my lenses, this and my Canon 100mm f2.8 macro, are the only two that are always in my bag.

I have watched lot of your videos in the last 3/4 months and love the way you guys explain ins/outs of camera/lens.

I just bought Sony a6300 and heard tons of talk around this lens so I decided to try it out. But now when I went to Amazon to place an order it gives me 4 different versions to choose from. I'm now confused which one to get for my Sony a6300. Any recommendation? Do I need any adopter as well?

Thanks for all your very helpful reviews!
