Xbox Series S vs. Series X | Starfield Load Times, Resolution and FPS Test | 4K 60FPS UHD

Some games are even upscaled from 720p, so i don't see why they couldn't make it 1080p upscaled to 4K on 60fps, the series x definitely can handle it.

Honestly, people need to compare with a zoom x4 to choose a console, today?? And I don't say that for Open Surprise who made the video (it's an honest comparison).
We can clearly see how both versions are very similar, unless yu want to see stone litle less blurry; because, yeah, it is very important the stones details in a game. 😅
Just go with the budget you have, and enjoy the game. Very sad to see how it's all about performance today instead of the rest: the game.

it depends if you game on 1080p the series s if you game on 1440p i would go for the series x

Im Playing Starfield on my Xbox Series S Carbon Fiber and im loving it way better than my series X console I wasted money buying the series x I should have waited for the Carbon Black Series S version

Not really rock solid fps when it drops in settlements and some planets smh that with 30 fps makes it feel like a 4k xbox 360 game

I have the series s this game is perfectly fine on it I'm not a fan of the game but that doesn't make it bad it's just not my kind of thing. But it looks walking great and it plays perfectly fine. It doesn't seem to work on my PlayStation 5 though 😂. I hate my PlayStation 5 it just collects dust

Playing on the series x I have 29 hours in the game currently and I’ve crashed to home twice in large city’s and can notice a drop in frame when using amp to move faster or am in a large city also my best friends series x has overheated twice while playing (mines been fine) he’s played about as long as me

I bought the Series S back in the early days of the new gen only because Series X and Ps5 were just impossible to find. Now that you can buy ps5 and series X I don’t feel the need to upgrade. Series S with Game pass works like just fine

I just wish both versions were 60fps. There's much larger games that run at 60fps. I'm not sure why they did this or if it's even relevant anymore.

I've been seeing a lot of conflicting reports on the fps of this game with my friend who owns a Series X even saying it runs at 60fps. It's rather annoying.

Yeah I switch on and off PC to Console depending on games. Got game pass so I can try both. I can't play it on Xbox, holy shit it's disgusting. It feels like I'm playing on a dusty PC that can only run it on bare minimum, I've got the Series S & X. As soon as I run it on my PC, omg 106 FPS+ never seemed so beautiful. I'm used to 200-300fps+ on Ultra on most games and the lowest I've ever been was 90-100 FPS but my god when you switch from console to PC it is gift. I feel so sorry for anyone playing it on the console, if you're okay with that garbage fps limit then mad respect.. but me personally, I can't handle playing a game with shitty frames, It needs to be smooth. I will not go back to the days where getting decent frames was a struggle on a office hand me down PC or on a device that costs me $800+ to suffer with those frames.

Edit: One thing to mention. If you are on a Series S, I've played continously the first time for about 6-7 hours and it overheated within the 4th hour. After that the graphic rendering is abyssmal, like it becomes play dough but fixes itself after a couple seconds. I've crashed a total of 6 times on the Series S and 2 times on Series X. Series X handles it very well, if you want continous playtime, the upgrade is def worth it. PC depends on how beast of a computer you have, if you've got one where you've HAD to run games on low to medium, you will not be able to run this game. You can try but I won't believe any of that garbage "Oh mines does" no it doesn't. If your PC isn't up to date, good luck.

I'm a huge x-box fan but am I the only one that feels like it doesn't look that great on either system? Not sure what all the hype is about. Elden Ring looks way better on both systems.

So weird cause my series x doesn't have nearly the load times when landing on a planet or fast traveling to a whole different system.

Ive downloaded the game on my Xbox Series S and its utter crap. Don’t watch the videos and think omg its awesome! No! Its shit. Graphics are choppy, water looks horrible. Constant fps drops and the game feels incomplete. Its all hype as always. Its the same thing like Cyberpunk launch. Retail version is always shit. Very disappointed. Its not a gen gen game. Ive seen games with insane graphics on PS3 and they call this game next gen! I’m the real review here, don’t fall for marketing and influencers advertising it.

The fact that itll struggle even capped at 30 on the x shows that 60 just wouldn’t work going into big crowded areas. People would complain to much.

Si hay diferencia grafica en las texturas de largo alcanze y en algunos detalles del terreno pero hay mucha mentira en este video en series S se ve mejor solo es cuestión de subir la nitidez de tu tv para los bordes borrosos, aún así obvio se ve mejor en series X pero la diferencia no es tanta, menos con este motor gráfico que utilizaron, aún siendo series X hay pedazo donde parece xbox 360.
Yo no tengo la series X pero lo juego en S y puedo ver que no es como el video, por otra parte tengo la PS5 también y cuando comparo juegos que se pueden jugar en ambas consolas la diferencia no es tanta, no por nada sacaron un series S de 1 tb (consola actual que sacó xbox) y no un series X versión digital, y este ultimo series S vale casi lo mismo que un series X (50 dlls de diferencia), creo que hay muchos videos donde no le tiran hate al series S simplemente el monitor se tiene que configurar diferente puesto que se trata de un 2k (hablando de que tienes un monitor 4k) si ese no es el caso, series S es la mejor opción

I started to notice the Series S falling behind with Cyberpunk 2077. While Starfield looks and runs okay on the Series S, it's lack of power shows. In busy environments or areas where there's a lot of detail, the stutter is rather annoying and the texture pop-in is noticeable too. The fact it runs as well as it does is an achievement, as honestly i was expecting it to look much worse. But for how much the Series S cost, you can't complain because it's punching well above its weight.

S is very impressive for what it is perfect next to my ps5

The lack of 60 FPS is enough for me to sell my Xbox Series X. I bought the console thinking that it would be an alright holdover until I bought upgrades for my PC, but it's just so lacking.
