9 Things Mudrunner did better than Snowrunner

Mudrunners lada is actually op af if you do not touch soft soil. Just navigate trough the thick forest and use winch when needing to cross a wet surface. Fast af.

What totally gets me is physics in snowrunner. It works at things only about 7 metres away from the vehicle. A great example is letting a box fall from a mountain. It just gets stuck in the miggle of fall and if you don't put a vehicle or crane near it, it just sits here and waits even when there's nothing under it

they do have a new snowrunner or mudrunner based game hope its good

Mudrunner supported multiple input devices to do a full manual setup with clutch. Snowrunner only supports one device, and there is no manual at all, the clutch is basically useless.

You forgot to mention the mud psychics (mud build up on tires) are way better on MudRunner than SnowRunner.

i use the blade of skidder to hang up the front wheel and i get strong base when using my winch.

I kinda wish they did fuel in snowrunner the same as mudrunner. It seems like cheating when you're low on fuel but theres a trailer store nearby so just spawn a fuel trailer, top up, sell it again. In Mudrunner if you grab a fuel trailer from the garage, it's empty to start. You have to fill it first. Made you plan ahead a bit.

Musrunner has frame flex snowrunner dosnt

Spintires and Mudrunner were also way better to play with a wheel. Both had proper manual gearbox, and in Snowrunner you can't even turn off auto-reverse without hacking the game which sucks.

Playing mudrenner as a kid always creeped me out the sound of whistling diesels in the pitch black woods was creepy and awesome.

When I play on keyboard worst mistake is that SR don't have CC... Finger on up key for 10-20 minutes hurts.

i hope the devs bring back the variety in trailers/addons because it made the game feel a bit more realistic and immersive

although, if the same company were to be providing the addons/trailers then having them all the same would be the better option

Shame looks like a great game but the controls are annoying asf and no clue what your actually doing in the game

For the addons, I don't think having separate Russian and American add-ons and trailers is worth it - it is just a cosmetic change, after all. But for the larger add-ons, a possible solution might be to allow multiple add-ons at once, similar to the current "crane and bed" vehicles.

I guess by now a few of the mentioned issues have been addressed in Snowrumner. E.g. the speed limit when towing another vehicle and a couple more. But still I find that Snowrunner could be so much more.

Sadly the devs don't really speak to the community and instead we get more of the same stuff with every season. I just hope they are actively working on a true successor with a major overhaul of the physics engine as well as terrain deformation, better weather effects, ... I could go on for days. But my most wanted feature is probably PSVR2 support.

Funny how most of these have been added in updates to Snowrunner, like the ability to turn off the engine on a winched vehicle.

bro,about that winch part, there is no speed limit, its just the handbreak bug, which idk why they still cant fix, and i miss the wood cracking sound

I think that the same driver for every veicle is actualy a pro dan a con because, I mean, isn't you the same driver, you are not 2 people, you are the only player that has that off road truck empire, get it?

Physics were way better in Mud. In Snow, trucks look like they float above ground. We can see the light of day under tires. They also bounce like balloons, where in Mud, rocks would first dig into the ground and the tire would deform before the truck would start slowly lifting in a realistic way as if it had weight. Snowrunner feels like you're playing pinball.

Mudrunners map design was overall better, paved roads were paved the whole way where snowrunner roads are just sloppy and clearly designed to just make the game more of a pain
