As an asian, I had very hard time differentiating the white guys form the old Gatsby movie (you know the Ralph Lauren one) simply because they were all wearing very similar suits and hats. But it happens again when i watch some Japanese movie and if there are more than 1 long straight-hair women, I can’t tell the difference. Same as whenever i see some k-pop stars unless they have a real distinctive face. So i guess it’s a cultural thing rather than a race thing? If they have similar “styles” per se, they look alike?

You know Steve’s got rhinoplasty, definitely not asian nose. Also his nose is smaller and narrower than his wife. 🤣

It's because white people have more variations. If you describe a white person you can differentiate them by hair colour, eye colour, whether they have freckles. Asian people tend to just have either black or brown hair and darker eyes. It means most people are differentiated more by bone structure and skull shape. I actually saw a show where the cast was 90% white girls with the same hair colour and I started confusing different characters.

The strange thing is that he appears to be saying "not all Asians look alike" to the other Asians who claim that they are always being mistaken for Steve--not to whites or other races who typically are accused of thinking all Asians look alike.
