34 According to the number of days spent in exploring the land --- forty days, for every day a year --- for forty years you shall bear the guilt of your sins and you shall know what it is to oppose me. 35 I , God, have spoken, Surely this is what I will do to this wicked community that has conspired against me in this wilderness they shall be destroyed and this is where they shall die."
36 The men sent by Moses to explore the land and who on their return had made the community grumble against him, 37 those men who wickedly spread a bad report on the land ,died of a plague before God. 38 Only Joshua,son of Nun , and Caleb, son of Jephunneh,survived out of those who went to explore the land.
39 When Moses related this to the Israelites,the people mourned bitterly. 40 They rise early in the morning and went up to the mountain saying," Here we are! We have sinned but now we are ready to go to the place that God spoke of." 41 But Moses said, " Why are you going to disobey God's command ? You will not succeed. 42 Do not go up lest you be struck down by your enemies for God is not with you. 43 The Amalekites and the Canaanites are there ahead of you and you will fall by the sword, for you turned away, from following God and he will not be with you."
44 They insisted on going up to the top of the mountain but neither the Ark of the Covenant of God nor Moses moved from inside the camp. 45 Then the Amalekites and the Canaanites who lived in the hill country came down and defeated them, beating them back as far as Hormah.

ISAIAH 40:31
31 but those who hope in God will renew their strength.
They will soar as with eagle's wings; they will run not grow weary;
they will walk and never tire.

PSALM 103(102):5-22
5he gives fulfillment to your years, and renews your youth like the eagle's.
6 God restores justice and secures the rights of the oppressed.
7 He has made known his ways to Moses; and his deeds, to the people of Israel.
8 God is gracious and merciful, abounding in love and slow to anger; 9 he will not always scold nor will he be angry forever . 10 He does not treat us according to our sins ,nor does he punish us as we deserve.
11 As the heavens are high above the earth,so great is his love for those fearing him; 12 as far as the east is from the west,so far does he remove from us our sins .
13 As a father has compassion on his children, so God pities those who fear him.
14 For he knows how we are formed, he remembers that we are dust.
15 The days of mortals are like grass; they bloom like a flower of the
field;
16 but the wind passes over it, and it is gone,his field will not see him again.
17 But God's kindness is forever with those who fear him; so is his justice, for their children's children, 18 for those who keep his Covenant and remember his commands; for those who put them into practice.
19 God has set his throne in heaven; he rules; he has power everywhere.
20 Praise God, all you his angels, you mighty ones who do bidding; you, who obey his word.
21 Praise God, all his hosts, all his servants who do his will.
22 Praise God, all his works ; everywhere he rules.

JOSHUA 14: 11-15
11 Today I am still as strong as the day when Moses sent me out on the raid; for fighting for going and coming,I am as strong now as then. 12 Give me then the highlands that God promised me. You know that they are a race of giants called the Anakim and their towns are great and strong. But if God is with me,I shall drive them out as God said."
13 Joshua Caleb,son of Jephunneh, and gave him the city of Hebron as an inheritance. 14 And hence Hebron down to the present day belongs to the descendants of Caleb son of Jephunneh, the Kenizzite, because he obeyed Lord the God of Israel. The name of Hebron in earlier times was Kiriah - arba had been the greatest man of the Anakim.
And the country had rest from war.

FATHER SEND YOUR HOLY SPIRIT

GOD OUR FATHER, I ask You to send Your Holy Spirit into my heart, mind, and soul that when I read these words which You have given to me, I receive them with the understanding which You my Father have intended. Allow me to be open to Your burning fire of love. Allow me to absorb this message of Your tremendous love into the very depths of my being. Father, it is your desire that I should come to You. So I come to You as Your child and ask You to set me on fire with Your burning and all consuming love. Allow my heart to explode with Your Divine love. Allow me to exist only for Your love. My Father, teach me Your love. AMEN, AMEN.

NICENE CREED
I believe in one God, the Father almighty, maker of heaven and earth, of all things visible and invisible. I believe in one Lord Jesus Christ, the Only Begotten Son of God, born of the Father before all ages. God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God, begotten, not made, consubstantial with the Father; he came down from heaven, and by the Holy Spirit was incarnate of the Virgin Mary, and became man. For our sake he was crusified under Pontius Pilate, he suffered death and was buried, and rose again on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures. He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead and his kingdom will have no end. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life, who proceeds from the Father and the Son, who with the Father and the Son is adored and glorified, who has spoken through the prophets. THE LORD'S PRAYER/ Our Father
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be your name: your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen
