Just a thought but she seems very well groomed so would she stop at a beauty shop/nail shop?? Maybe put fliers up in salons in the area??? Hoping she's found asap!!

This case hits me hard I also have ptsd and am a Buddhist PTSD is horrible I dont wish it on anyone chanting for you I'm also from AZ.

I keep watching these hoping I’ll know someone. I work in mental health and we have quite a bit of people who won’t sign releases for family and have done things like just picking up and leaving where they are from. It happens a lot.

It’s really unhelpful that so much info is being deliberately kept out of the story.

The facility located right near where she disappeared is Sierra Tuscon, a very well known drug treatment program. The family refers to it as a 30-day “trauma program.” As a mental health professional, I’ve never heard of such a thing. Much more common is 30-day inpatient drug rehab. I get it that they’re trying to protect her privacy, but she’s been missing for several weeks. Unfortunately, because of confidentiality, the treatment center can’t release information without the patient’s consent. My guess is that she walked out of rehab, possibly with another patient.

She was my middle school dance teacher at Utterback. Sad..

it is very frustrating and perplexing where all these people are and if they are alive or not. there are so many and many may just at the wrong place at wrong time. a police officer tried to take his life this week...can you imagine what they deal with each day and how hard they have it in this crazy world.

Just recently discovered and subscribed to your channel. You do an amazing job. People do not take people with mental illnesses seriously. PTSD and other mental health issues are real. A lot of people with these issues feel like no one cares it has time to try and understand what's happening with them. I'm not saying that about this case.

I understand that the family are not wanting to disclose the facility she was being treated in, but you don't have to be Einstein to work it out from the map you put up (and I'm in Australia, so know nothing of the area) which facility it was. I note that if you walk north? from the facility that up on the right there is the Charloux Gap Trail....that seems to lead off into some very uninhabited country. if she was looking to get away from everything, perhaps this would be a place to go.
I also noted on the FB page you displayed where her brother was explaining some of the incorrect? material that was being circulated; the 2nd post on the page is from someone named Michael Resanovich, who states, "Her husband Did it".....who is this guy, and why did he put this comment???. He's easy enough to locate on FB; using the picture for his FB page. There was talk of a daughter...so where is the father/husband in this story??? As you said John, there are many of us out here who have wrangled with our own mental health issues...me included...What does the treatment centre have to say about her state of mind before she "disappeared"...was she potentially suicidal?? Surely the treatment centre would have security cameras which could tell something of the story of how she left and which direction she went/and was she alone??? Too many unanswered questions. Are there any stores around the area? Maybe she went off to buy something hence her being on foot and carrying cash, and something happened to her either coming or going from a store.

Or maybe she just went for a walk which would explain her not taking her phone or car, and something happened to her. I really hope she’s found soon safe and well, my thoughts, prayers and wishes go out to her family and friends.

She seems like a social type person who goes to others for help. My guess is that someone is with her. I hope she heals and returns safely.

Apparently the facility that Elizabeth was attending has had some issues with suspicious activity in the past. From what I could find some of the treatment techniques are really intense.

It might help to at least know a little bit about what Elizabeth was being treated for. If she had PTSD, maybe she saw or heard something that triggered a mental break. Knowing something about what was going on might give people an idea where and how to look for her.

If her car was left at the facility the chances are somebody abducted her from the facility

john, thank you. it touches my heart that even in these kinds of cases where its apparent that the chances of it being foul play, or a crime committed, you still cover them with the importance of any other story that is foul play. missing people are missing people, and they all matter!!
as far as me personally, my dad committed suicide when i was 17. my mother & him were seperating after 23 yrs of marriage & he had a hard time accepting it, and had zero history of depression before. he checked himself into a place for 2 weeks, and sadly, decided to end his life within 3 weeks of being discharged. he drove 150 mi away, pulled off a road on an empty property into a ditch, not viewable from the road. when the police came to our door the next dat to inform us of this life changing news, they said it was important a message was given to us by the man who found him that morning. it was his property my dad was on. he only goes to it once every 6 weeks in the summer to mow, and within 12 hours of my dads decision, was when he mowed. he felt it was important enough for this man's family to know, like a divine intervention. it always meant so much to us, to know this.
i always think how easy my dads story/our journey could be exactly like elizabeths,if that man mowed his property the day before, the week before, sure6, eventually he wpuld have been found. but for 6 weeks, we woulda been in a position like elizabths family. instead, we got to say a proper open casket goodbye. thank you for everything you do

There has been an update as of March of this year. There appear to be some issues with the facility she was at. No updates on her location as of that article.

How did she get admitted to a mental institution when she wasn't a danger to herself or others? I was told you couldn't get into a facility unless you were.

The dissapearance of Ms Breck is very very odd to me, something doesn't sit right. I do know her bracelet tracker was removed and purposely broken and found at the facility, theres also been quite a few complaints with this facility along with 5 other confirmed deaths that happened there on site, one was off site a Male who gone missing and was found 2 weeks later a few miles away. They have been investigated many a times and I have this weird feeling the facility is using some old age techniques for therapy.

What's with the pussyfooting. The family controlling the info is odd. One single photo, is odd and the biggest and most obvious is the center which she was under care of. You are being soft on this pretending she just took off and is in the woods meditating. Nope. A teacher does not leave like this. Her kids, her benefits and status. This whole thing stinks and you are playing along with the coverup. Maybe she is being held captive maybe she is dead but this shady control of info and some mental health facility stinks to high heaven. Often things these facilities and rehabs are fronts for cults, scientology and real bad people to take advantage of folks in bad spots.

Something might have happened to her at the facility ! I don't have a clue why people don't look at the last place she was and dig deep ?? Who was in that place??

Her car still there?! This doesn't make sense. I truly hope something didn't happen at that facility that is being covered up. I HATE saying that but these days who knows.
I read in an article they aren't talking to police too much.
I hope she is found safe. :(

This is so crazy to me. I just recently got back from the same treatment facility she disappeared from and this story popped up on my Facebook timeline. While I was there we had to wear FitBit’s and if they can’t track you they’re hunting you down within minutes…because of this and other incidents that have happened on the property. This place was definitely not a one size fits all…there were people there struggling with many different things..most people there seemed very normal but I also saw a lot of crazy things and experienced things I’ve never seen before. One guy became manic to the highest degree and started threatening the staff and word around the place was that the facility told him they were going to take him to a psych ward but instead dropped him off at a homeless shelter with shit smeared on the wall in a really shady part of town. He was not from AZ so he had no family or friends to come and pick him up from there. I’m sure they’ll be facing another law suite soon.

Based on the dangerous track record of the mental health facility that Elizabeth was staying at, and the fact that there were a few other patients who'd committed suicide at the facility, one must wonder how far this place would go to cover up another.

I truly wonder if Elizabeth Breck ever even left this facility alive.

I've been praying for Elizabeth since she went missing. I know her and remember how much she really loved dancing outside when she didn't feel well. She is a beautiful woman who is strong and capable. I pray she is still alive and finds her way to freedom as soon as possible. I am so sorry for her family. I know she deserved so much better than the world showed her. She stayed in my bedroom when she came for a retreat at my home years ago. She would gravitate toward those who live guided by the heart. I have to admit I changed after she went missing, and I have never been the same. I am so angry that anyone would hurt her and/or steal her freedom. I am angry at anyone who would hurt or steal anyone like her. She is a good person and didn't deserve this. I would do anything to help her, including going back in time and doing whatever I could if it was possible. I believe someone at the facility was involved, and it makes me sick that no one is being held accountable. She wouldn't hurt herself. She was seeking help.
