Idk if it’s just me but I bought the series x the ps5 with the promise that the new games for these systems would better graphics this and that but I don’t see no difference in this generation from the last or am I wrong

They moved to the RPG system in the first place because they couldn’t make an authentic assassination game/experience and it grew stale. Stripping that same engine/gameloop “down to its roots”….is still just crouching around and sneaking up behind guys. I think Egypt and Ancient Greece were interesting enough to make people forget about that for a bit but the gig is up imo.

I was a loyal fan of the series. But after Black Flag, the maps got bigger and bigger, but the content of the games was as rich as a glass of water.

This is the 4th AC game to be released since the PS5 and xbox s/x launched. Stop giving this company praise or money. They deserve neither. This is just another reskin. Ubisoft hasn't done an honest day's work in nearly a decade.

This looks good (Unless they went overboard with the actuall mythology of that region) — probably will pick it up. Incredible how playing as actual assassin in - you know - ASSASSIN'S creed actually makes sense.

Yall got to used to the last 3 games, this is true assassin's creed, weird glitchs, great story and great stealth, i cant wait for this to finsh installing so i can play it

I feel fairly confident in saying that this gameplay isn't being played by Jack... it's too cinematic, as if the player already knows what they're about to do. Long camera movements to showcase the scenery, no checking around corners for enemies, and the lack of emotion on close calls makes me believe that this gameplay was recorded beforehand by someone who intended to showcase the game and then dubbed by Jackfrags only afterwards

I'm already disappointed by the amount of NPCs glitching all over the places, clothes warping through each other and having their own centre of gravity. It really just isn't good enough for a Triple A game in 2023.

idk why they can't just make new AC game as fluid and polished as the older games. The old settings are the only thing right about this game.

This looks like Ubisoft has assigned a team of developers who previously made mobile games, not the AAA studio.

Out of every Assassins Creed since the beginning, I've played them all but i definitely em passing on this one. Just seems like the team was super lazy or understaffed making this. Just doesn't look interesting or pretty at all. If this was a Mobile game only, then It'd make sense.

The ceo's do realize the reason people buy AC games is for the assassination animations right?

What triggers me a bit in these newer games is assassination animation. He stabs him in leg or side or arm and he's dead.. older games at least we're somehere closer to neck or head

Man this looks bad. Assassinations from behind is just a pathetic slash and not an animation. Ubisoft does it again.

They need to make facial expressions better, like GTAV & RDR2. It'll make the characters feel more alive.

why do the animations look so unrealistic and janky? Loved the animations on assassins creed unity and syndicate. here it breaks the immersion.
