Europe, Canada, Australia and USA are responsible for the wellbeing of their citizens and most importantly children. Regulations on clothing companies must be revised. Standards are a must to have for every item before being allowed to be sold to our children.
ОтветитьNot surprised
ОтветитьBro im concerned now because I bought pillow cases from them and I’ve been sleeping on the same three pillows cases for years now 😅
ОтветитьYou have absolutely terrified me!! Thank you for all this great research. Why is ANY lead allowed in children’s clothing??? 🤦♀️
ОтветитьI have bought clothes from Temu and they seem fine but it makes you think
ОтветитьAren’t most of the major companies clothing line made in China
ОтветитьInternational megastar Lizzo!!! Who??? The baby elephant.
ОтветитьJust got boots sent from China, they smelled so toxic and bad .I literally got nauseous. Not ordering nothing from them ever again.
ОтветитьAlso, the only reason the shipping costs are so low is because they're subsidized by the US/EU and other developed countries, since China is still classified as 'developing'.
ОтветитьTo be fair, you should really do the same tests for the more expensive , AS @ Dandelion said.
ОтветитьLet me know when you test all these brands that we buy right here in the US from China
Ответитьthe level of toxics is so bad on that red purse that gloves should be worn and maybe should be sealed in a bag just handling it.
keep trying even if you become a pain and annoying to the point of harassment to where the police gets involved.
if it is being cheap that why they use the toxics then work the employees off the clock instead.
"oh we need you to scrub the bathroom" as soon as they punch out.
Our food has toxic chemicals in them too. 💁🏽♀️
ОтветитьThat's why it is good to buy stuff with GOTS certificate (no synthetic dyes or pesticides, cotton with no GMO).
ОтветитьWhat about the 100% cotton clothing from SHEIN does that have toxins as well????
ОтветитьIf you people think you are getting bargains for cheap you are mistaken!! You get what you pay for. Stop your whining. Imagine the cheap labor you support!! Just think of the toxic chemicals the workers have to deal with to satisfy your insatiable appetite to buy!! You get what you deserve!!
ОтветитьI don't feel shocked, I feel defeated. Like.. I don't buy this stuff but it's still going to endanger me and my family/friends, and I can't stop the companies from making them. People want to look cute but are super poor due to the high level of inequality we have in almost all countries, and people will buy this stuff regardless of the dangers. The companies still get money because the governments won't step in until we take environmental safety seriously.
ОтветитьNike invented sweatshops, noone seems to have cared...
ОтветитьHow is PFAS even legal? Globally?
ОтветитьThey should test clothes that come from WalMart, Target and all other clothing retailers all the clothes come from China, all made the same way.
ОтветитьCan this not be washed away?
ОтветитьYou're "saving" just as much money as you're wasting. And supporting a terrible industry in doing so.
ОтветитьI recently walked into a dollar tree and all I smelled was gross chemicals. All I could think about was the health of the people working in the factories making the merchandise.
Ответить@USA
ОтветитьThis is very cool and all but what about the clothes from local stores? I'd be interested how the quality is considering they import most of the stuff from china anyways.
Also I have noticed that this video exclusevly focused on plastic clothes made from polyester and other artificial fibers. What about cotton products from these brands?
China is an adversary of the U.S. This is chemical warfare.
ОтветитьI do not shop with any of these “retailers” 😢sad state of affairs indeed
ОтветитьI used to buy all of my jewelry off aliexpress, shein, and temu. recently I bought a lead testing kit and found that almost all of my jewlery has high levels of lead. it's not worth it.
ОтветитьDang I guess I should buy Gucci 👀🌚
ОтветитьYET.... where's our alternative? Most big clothing brands are literally fast fashion. Its like we arent even given a second option...
ОтветитьI got lots of Temu…no smell I love the tshirt
ОтветитьI'm going to tell everyone I know about this!!!
ОтветитьWhy do we allow these companies to do business in Canada or on this Continent!?
ОтветитьCheap, poorly stitched, Colors off , no labels, strange fabric poor fit.
More expensive than it should be
An ad for Shein literally preceded this video.
ОтветитьChina has a goal and they are on track to turn the west into dumb overweight and sick communities.
ОтветитьOur governments and businesses outsourced giving control to make our clothing in China and India. They’ve been doing that for a lot of years and now we are complaining? Let’s charge our governments for allowing this to happen. Don’t blame the companies making them because our business people needed to get the clothing made quickly and cheaply.
ОтветитьI don’t mean to criticize as this is great but if she’s pregnant, should she be touching the lead purse?
ОтветитьMajority of the clothing we purchased are made in China including Zara and H&M. Man I been buying from Shein now I have to get rid of it
ОтветитьWho even buys this crap? I've never even heard of it! Suppose that just shows where I spend my time and energy. So grateful that I'm not American
ОтветитьYall are so gullible. Those are clearly washing instructions. Read the entire label and stop taking things out of context. " Need your help washing in soft detergent the first time to make goods soft" before washing. They literally tell yall to wash the clothes first before you wear it. LOL I cant with the internet! Yall just go for anything. Im. not saying working conditions are not bad. What I AM SAYING is that there is NOT a cry for help on these labels.
ОтветитьXenophobia of the USA. Why dont CBC news starts seeing American oil products who danger people live?
ОтветитьOh Health Canada … that great bastion of bureaucracy… stupidity.. and just plain not protecting Canadians AT ALL
ОтветитьWeird that Zaful SHEIN advertised in between this show … ugh 😩
ОтветитьI got an add for both Shein and Ali Express in this video. Ironic. XD
ОтветитьCheap plastic clothes 🤮
ОтветитьI find this very concerning because I’ve bought stuff from SHEIN before. And it was at the time I didn’t know that there were cases of toxic chemicals because I didn’t look at media too often. Since now I have been able to see what risks it places on people. I don’t know if my items contain lead, or other toxic chemicals. I’m very concerned despite washing them before putting them on and wearing them.
ОтветитьAll Stores Please lower the price of all Military and Local for all brands of Clothes Products and Accessories and Production Cost Now That's too much $$ The Whole World Now Pray
ОтветитьIf you live in California the Proposition 65 warning for disruptive chemicals is everywhere in shops entrances like Walmart, Joann, Michaels and many others. It’s definitively not just SHEIN unfortunately.
