I was surprised that you put mascara on her bottom lashes. I thought when we are over 50 we should just apply it on the top lashes.

Hi, Gabi. I have just recently found you. You are a transformation artist! And so fun to watch. You asked women to chime in on the glam look for older women. I just turned 60 and really enjoy cosmetics and skincare. But I find that I work pretty meticulously to look as NATURAL as I can. I like a full lip, usually in a blue red or pink, a lined eye and mascara, foundation and concealer that I blend to no end, neutral eyeshadow, a bronzer and cream blush. Sometimes I add a little to eyebrows, but I dye them so they are mostly fine. I spend about as much time prepping my skin as putting on makeup, due to it being very dry. I might like the glam look for a special occasion, but not on a regular basis. (I just ordered the IT Cosmetics cc cream...just before I saw your videos, so I can't wait to get it!) Anyway, your mom looked GORGEOUS when you did her makeup... it looked so great on her! But that much on my pale, freckled skin would be over done I think. :) I love what you say about color correcting and concealer and look forward to applying your methods. Thank you! (You are also beautiful and your makeup looks put together without being over the top.)

Hi ! I am new here. I will be 70 in December and I like the way I look except for the falling jowls. I do a natural no-makeup look and try to camouflage the flaws as natural as possible. I like the smoky eyes look on others but haven't tried it for myself. Most products , like City Beauty, are not sold here in Czech Republic and I do not like to order things that are not sold locally. when I ran out of any, I just pop into the store. But I understand there are many good substitutes in Sephora, in DM, and natural products stores here. Thank you for your great videos!

This is my first time I’ve seen you. I just have a question. I’m using Charlotte Tilbury magic cream and it’s definitely filling in all my wrinkles but my face lines also. Can I apply it to my bad spots and then use a a regular moisturizer? Help!

I feel fine to wear a lot of makeup! Typically, I will wear a lot of makeup for evening outings. For daytime, I stick to a more natural look. No real reason for this except for that is what I feel comfortable with. I also feel that a more dramatic makeup is more appropriate for evening wear. Just my personal feeling.
