What a wonderful look up close inside of a hive. I wish someone clever would invite the "Frederick Dunn" mini-robot camera the size of a bee so I could use it in my hive to get the wonderful views you are able to do with your cameras so I could easily see everything my bees are doing! I am always envious of your photography and enjoy the quality of all of your work. Can we start a "Go Fund Me" page to get that F.D.M.R. camera into development? Then we just need A.I. to duplicate your soft voice narrations to make our own videos complete! 😆
ОтветитьIf I feed the bees sugar water to encourage them to make comb on the frames of the honey super, will that taint the honey when I extract it?
ОтветитьVery nice close up images! Teaching keepers to be more observant is important.
ОтветитьAmazing... Nice to see 🙏
ОтветитьGood one, Fred.
ОтветитьHive 21 eh.
I'm not sure anymore. Are you a teacher or a photographer?
Razer-sharp footage, amazing. And again explanation to the point.
Your grandson is lucky to have you around.
It’s one thing to be able to glean from your Q & A talks and to watch an info video, but to have such close up shots that you do takes it to an entirely different level. Bravo my friend, bravo!
ОтветитьAwesome as always Fred, always enjoy your great videos and information. Has to bee the best bee channel. Thanks again for sharing TrickyTrev 🇦🇺👍🐝🍯
ОтветитьAs a newbie is thank you best I have seen
ОтветитьGreat videography. Thank you.
ОтветитьTy my wife will like this vdo
ОтветитьI was going to ask for an update on the Observation hives.. You read my mind 😎. It would also 🐝 nice to have a look at the Ivy hive on the porch of the 🐝 academy building. I wanted to buy one but the price is prohibitive to get to Australia
ОтветитьFred-you mentioned in reply to my question about how replacement queen cells are made that “they (the bees) build queen cells over existing young larvae in emergencies”—yet does that mean that sometimes they move young larvae? Are they capable of doing this? Or are replacement cells ALWAYS built over existing young larvae? Grateful.
ОтветитьWow Fred. Amazing video. Thx!
Questions: when a hive decides to make swarm cells or supersedure cells, do they pull larvae from an original cell and move it into a swarm cell that they are currently building? Or do they simply find a suitable larva currently in its original cell and build out from there? Grateful
I so adore these close up videos. It enables me to see things so much more clearly than I can when I am looking at my frames through the mesh of my bee visor. So very fascinating! Bees are truly amazing wee creatures. Thank you, Fred! Cheers from southern Ontario, Marie-Louise
ОтветитьThose observation hives are so cool! Do they use float glass or tempered glass?
ОтветитьHi Fred, another bee-utiful and interesting video.
ОтветитьLooks like a little bit of Kwing in this hive?
ОтветитьAwesome video!!!! Thanks Fred!!!
ОтветитьGreat info. Thanks for sharing with us. Hope you had a good 4th 🎉
ОтветитьI thought your grandson might like no eye deer joke
ОтветитьGreat Footage Fred!!
ОтветитьThe more I learn the more there is to learn
