I'm not one to normally comment but as someone who is about 25 minutes away from Browns Plains that's scary to think how close it was. But then again knowing Browns Plains half the people there are rugged up so also not unrealistic.

The guys who kept following the person on the highway and blocked them in the turning lane reminded me of something that happened to my cousin. She was driving home from work when she got onto the expressway. A second later, a guy pulls right behind her, honking, then pulls up beside her, yelling at her to pull over. She understandably is freaked out, and tries to avoid him like the person in the video, but he keeps trailing her. She eventually calling the cops while driving and tells them she's going to stop in a nearby parking lot near the station, and the guy follows her there. She yells at him she called the cops, and he screams "Good!"
When the cops get there and calm the guy down, turns out he had mistaken her for someone in a similar car who had cut him off, causing him to swerve off the road. He saw my cousin's car and thought it was the same person, so he decided to follow and confront her. Luckily for my cousin, the guy's own dashcam showed him and the cops that it wasn't the same car. Idk if the cops charged the guy for reckless driving, but that story still scares me to this day that I'll be the target of someone's misplaced road rage like her, but with a more violent driver a la Duel (1971).

I wish my family invested more into dashcams. At my first job in the summer of 2021, i would take the family car (1999 Toyota Land Cruiser) to work in a mall. The car is very old so the locks sometimes get jammed. I always checked every door before i left, but when i got to the car at the end of my shift, the driver door didnt make the loud click sound when i unlocked it. I thought i had forgotten to check, but when i got in, i noticed everything was out of place. Me trying to rationalize, i thought i accidently hit the buttons for the seat and maybe my mom had pressed the other buttons before i went to work and handnt noticed. But then i saw the rearview mirror twisted towards the passenger seat. I got really anxious as theres no way i couldve hit it, and realized that someone potentially might be in the car still. I acted as normal as possible and texted my mom to meet me outside when i got home. I drove without the rearview mirror so i didnt notice i was being followed home. The minute i got into the driverway i jumped out of the car (didnt wear a seatbelt either) and ran towards my mom. She took a look inside and it was a whole mess. We were taking care of my young cousins then so we had their car seats. One of the car seats was thrown to the back and the other was at the bottom of the seats. Napkins and tissues were thrown everywhere. I told my mom what happened when we got inside. My uncle heard everything, so he went to go look out the window and saw a car parked right behind ours with two men stepping out. One walked up to the car and the other was inspecting our garage. My uncle yelled out to my mom and she immediately grabbed a banana and ran out the door. The two men ran into their car and drove away when they saw her. We suspect that they may have been trying to rob what was in the car as people with old land cruisers are very wealthy most of the time. We arent, but they didnt know that so they followed me home to probably scope out the place. I dont think they were expecting a middle age women to run at them with what probably looked like a gun. Its a funny story to tell now, but it wasnt funny then

You know to some a truck spilling MGD on a highway is a bad thing. To me that sounds like the best day ever. That stuff is harder to find. I-25 being backed up both directions is nothing new lol, leave it the people who need to go 85+ to shut down two lanes

People need to know, the human trafficking rates aren't increasing magically. It has to happen some way, it's not always something cliche. It doesn't have to be some shady alley where a physically weak person is walking alone.
Sometimes it can be a sturdy person in the middle of the day, the traffickers just aim to lure the person into fake sense of security and normality.
As in, checking on someone who is hurt isn't shady right? it's the right thing to do, what's it gonna cost you, not even taking them to hospital or anything, just a small check right? Well, it could cost you to get tossed into a sex trafficking ring and/or organ trafficking once they're done juicing you.

In Mexico some people do as the first girl in the video: they suddenly jump in front of you when you're driving your car so you run into them. When you pull over and get out of your car to check the condition of the person you just hit an accomplice shows up with a gun and either robs you or steals your car. There is a story of a man who was driving his car really fast on a highway when he saw a girl on the road at a distance. The girl walked to the center of the road and laid down to force the driver to stop. The driver knew the girl was doing this on purpose and he knew if he stopped he would get robbed. He grabbed the steering wheel really hard and decided not to stop, so he decided not to slow down and so he ran over the girl for the sake of keeping himself safe.

How can you narrate the story about the guy leaving his friends house with a car following him so wrong? You even show the description so anyone can pause and read what happened yet you get the story wrong…weird. Not a big deal but it’s just seems like a dumb thing to get wrong.
