Wow..., they look so cheaply in quality.
I now know for sure it isnt something for me
Help I accidentally watched this video after building Banshee Unicorn did I miss or skip some steps?
ОтветитьMe, building my 32nd kit: huh. looks like a cool video to have in the background.
ОтветитьThx u 😊😊
ОтветитьIf you are interested in wargaming (like warhammer), gunpla isn’t an expensive hobby
ОтветитьTuesday, I received my first Gundam kit it was Rx-78-2 Real Grade.
I did 13 hours straight. For me it felt 5 hours. I still have some things to assemble.
I really liked my first experience with a Gunpla. 😎
I bought my first kit and its the DeathScythe Hell and i spent way too much and have no idea how to put this together lol T_T
Ответить…wait what’s wrong with getting the high grade banshee norn unicorn (destroy mode) as your first gunpla???
ОтветитьYou know what I realised?
Top-tier gunpla makers would make excellent watch makers, surgeons and anything that takes some serious fine motor skills.
These guys are just so insane with their skills and attention to detail.
Not me though, I am a scrub who can't even paint eyes properly. :(
Two things I do want to mention here for any newbies.
Particularly for higher grade kits with lots of stickers it's much easier to finish a whole piece (say an entire leg) then immediately go to put the stickers on it than to finish the entire thing and try to copy sticker sheet at the back (and I really wish they listed it like that since it's often an extremely visually busy page). I've done this both ways and it's so much easier doing it piece by piece as you can really get it into the position you need without having to deal with the rest of the build getting in the way or being awkward to hold. Also use a pen to make which stickers you've done as it really helps fix the visually busy diagrams.
Secondly many gundams you'll see online have stands when people show them off. These stands are by and large optional purchases, however they do massively help in getting specific action poses that would otherwise be difficult given they remove the need to balance the model on it's feet. A handful of gundam kits (the HG Beguir-Penta and the MG Destiny Gundam come to mind) come with their own stands however so do look into it before purchasing to know if you need to purchase a stand to get the pose you want to get the model into.
I'd also advise keeping spare parts in clearly labelled plastic bags alongside their instruction manuals, and keeping the fronts of the boxes since they can make cool decorations as the artwork is often stellar! :D
New beginner tip on nub removal,
I personally use the nippers to remove any remaining nubs left on parts. How I do this is by pushing down gently onto the piece with the nippers and then slowly shear it off. This prevents any holes from being formed, and you can easily clean off any excess with sandpaper.
This is awesome!
ОтветитьI have an important question. Before I buy any Gunpla on Amazon I suspect that the images on the gunpla from Amazon I can see the module plastic is already made. I want to know if the Gunpla comes already made or it comes as new?
ОтветитьHow to clean my gunpla?
ОтветитьGreat video! Thanks man, just starting with my first kit
ОтветитьVery helpful, thank you
ОтветитьLooking forward to see more videos.. 😊
ОтветитьDude the transitions are so smooth
ОтветитьThank you
ОтветитьUse mark softener and mk setter for waterslide and they form and set to the part better
ОтветитьOnly thing I hate about my PG strike is how long that damn feet are. It’s like it’s wearing some weird pointed Mexican cowboy boots like the cartel in breaking bad lol
ОтветитьI’m gonna disagree with no bad kits. The MG gundam age kit was one of the worst kits I’ve ever built. Same with the RG rx78 gp01fb garbage bin that can’t even keep itself together . Both age and the gp01fb have this issue. I literally gave my age kit to a friend who blew it up by tying it to a big ass firecracker. It was trash
ОтветитьEveryone says to start on hg or lower kits. My first kits were an hmm liger zero and an mg unicorn banshee lol.
ОтветитьI use flush cut knippers that I grabbed from my last job building aerospace electrical harnesses lol
ОтветитьI'm glad I watched this before I opened the box to my first gunpla. I can't wait to build it with this new knowledge of what to expect.
Ответитьtmw u build a master grade kit with zero experience, zero cutters, zero braincells and a nail clipper
ОтветитьThat GUN SWORD DVD spine is staring right at me, stirring up the theme song within my soul..
ОтветитьKuss auf nuss, bruder
thanks for the debrief ^^
oh my, this was fun!
Immediately proceeds to do the Void dragon next
I am quite fortunate for my work to be stocking gunpla kits, I bought my first kit which was a HG Char's Zaku 2 and had a blast building it. I have already pre-ordered a RG and MG kit and am eagerly awaiting the release date.
ОтветитьHi thanks for great stuff! I started my own gunpla channel! Just finished the RG exia! Its so fun! Can i ask u a honest question? How do you use the back ground music from anime, and dont get in trouble?? Thank you!
ОтветитьIs it smart for me (a beginner who has only built the entry grade kits) to buy and build the rg unicorn Gundam with no experience? I wanna know so I don’t ruin it if I try to build it.
ОтветитьAnyone else get into Gundam from Armored Core 6?
ОтветитьIve been building 40k models for a few years now, just got my first gunpla so hopefully the skills transfer over and make it easier on me
ОтветитьAlthough I'll probably not pick up the hobby anytime soon, I just wanted to say this guide is very clear, concise, and excellently paced.
Growing up, a lot of kids my generation in my country had Gunpla kits so I'm familiar with the hobby. My best friend in middle school had a couple of kits and we assembled one together once. Good times.
i bought my fits ever model kit (RX-78-2 1/144 HG) 2 days ago and this guide has got me even more exited to build it. i'll be keeping a eye on this channel for sure
ОтветитьMy hobby lobby also stocks gunpla if u have one near u id check it
ОтветитьI've been into the hobby a few years now and even for me, this video is great.
ОтветитьGota love them MG and PG models! I have to many... hehe
ОтветитьAfter trying a few HG or RG try MG everything changes
ОтветитьWhy do people like building gundums? And also why should I get into the
Hobbie?
I loved the what's the difference cut instrumental. 😂
ОтветитьOK, step one, you're going to want to buy the RG Zeta...
Ответитьengineering student to gunpla builder is a real pipeline that needs to be talked about
Ответитьsome advice. buy a needle file, sanding pen, or some sanding sticks. pretty handy for the ultrafine detailing needed for models. it's basically a pen with an abrasive tip, sandpaper you can get into little cracks or apply to a tiny area without touching the surrounding surfaces. it can save you a lot of heartache from accidentally scratching up the area surrounding a nub.
ОтветитьI've only started building Gunpla this year and I kinda jumped in at the deep end with the MG Barbatos. I was hooked immediately, working on building the kit for the rest of the day and taking about 12 hours to do it, also helps that I have a hobby store in walking distance that stocks most Gunpla. Since then I've only had 1 issue, twisting off a joint for my RG Sazabi and having a mini freak-out before super-gluing the arm back on. This has honestly been a hobby I've needed for a while, helping me focus on something when there's a lull throughout the day.
