this series was a huge inspiration to get into racing games. Learned a lot about racing from kinds of cars to styles of driving. understandable that a lot of it is exaggerated in the Anime but there are good pointers to learn from in the show. Even inspired me to build up an ae86 similar to the Initial D star in Forza MS3 and tuned it to race down the Fujimi Kaido tracks. I got it to the point I would win races down the track against cars that were a class or two higher than my 86 using shallow drifts around the tight narrow turns. I miss that track. Hope Forza brings it back in the future.

I swear this song has some occult magic imbued into it. I was getting my ass beaten by Genichiro, but the momment I started playing this music, I killed his first 2 fases barely hitless and didn't even need my resurrection on fase 3.

i wish i could do tandem with my friends in some kind of hills or something that must be awesome adrenaline feeling but we quit drift for a while now... but i still like and enjoy this sport
