I’m doing the same thing but all on one monitor, when I wanna use my windows pc I switch to hdmi 1 and use windows but if I wanna use my Mac Mini I switch to hdmi 2 and use Mac os also almost all my gear is Logitech so I might buy that chair because my current chair is so bad

Ikea has a better Hi-lo desk that is solid! Close to the same price as the Vivio

The Vanatoo T-0.. will hands down blow those speakers out of the water.. they can be used for audio editing.. the Footprint is so small they fit a 4 inch woofer 1 inch tweeter, and a 4 inch passive radiator... Ive owned 500-1000 Kef speakers and these are beter.. and they have so many different mounting options.. seriously do yourself a favore and check them out.. pretty much every audiofile online has them at their desk.. they are beautifull.. so clean.. the sound stand is second to none.. they come from a very small company therefore the attention to detail is incredible.. its insane the levels of bass you get out of them without a sub.. and they have every hookup, bluetooth and more... I just want people to buy them so they dont go out of buisness.. or just buy the Klipsch Promedia 2.1 or their newer model with a classic 70s look and a bigger sub.. but the vanatoos blow them away for 300 dollars.. and the klipsch blow everything away for 150.. sometimes 99 dollars on sale.. there is a reason they havent changed them since the late 90s.. they are incredible.

So this is what I'm looking to do, just wondering how much $$$ this will cost?

Do I need both a mac keyboard and a pc keyboard to initially set up synergy?

I am assuming you're not using a sharemouse software? They can be gitchy but when work well it's great

How do you connect the MX Master Mouse to Mac and PC at the same time?

The monitor should have USB ports and should automatically switch the mouse back and forth as you move the mouse from one side to the other.

Have you tried Synergy to share one keyboard between both windows and Mac desktops? I’m using this and it works perfectly. I have synergy server on the PC and the synergy client on Mac. You can go either way.

I like you setup... I have samsung m7 43inch monitor. It doesn't have multi view. I have 2 hdmi and 1 usb c port. I want to add my pc and mac mini to setup like your. How do i do it? And is it necessary to buy the dock? Should i buy a multiviewer dock? Any help will be appreciated. Thanks.

Doesn't the LG have the KVM switch app for MAC and Windows? why wouldn't you use that?

Lovely! How do you switch between displays if you’re using the full screen view? Is that a button on the monitor? I need a hybrid setup too but will only use either Mac or PC at a time.

so can you drag a window from your windows computer to your mac and vice versa? Or does this only work with the mouse and keyboard? Id like to combine both but don’t really see the point if i can drag a window back and forth from each

Awesome set up. I just revealed mine as well and the Iquinix F96 is a key component, but with yours it is all about the Herman Miller chair for me. i totally get it about the chair. I am hoping to make the Herman Miller my next big purchase.

Well I tried this setup out with my existing wide monitor and unfortunately the listed docking station (and all the others I can find) are "Not compatible with M1 MacBooks or Linux or Chrome OS laptops". Just a heads up for anyone else out there trying to make a dual setup with M1 Mac and PC.

This is super helpful! I work for a company that requires half of my work to be done on a PC and the other half to be done on a Mac, so I have been looking for easy ways to optimize my setup and clear up my desk space. Do you know if there any any ways to convert existing mechanical keyboards so they are Bluetooth switchable between a Mac and PC?

Nice, I was looking for setups for quite a while, but yours is my favorite so far. I would only get a larger desk and a different monitor. Also, a laptop sleeve would be useful if space is a problem.
