Sony got SO CLOSE! - Sony Playstation DualSense Edge

I thought of getting the duel edge but I think after this review I might just get a new ps5 regular controller instead . I have had my orginal controller since ps5 launched and the drift had finally gotten really bad .

Thank god i don't play "competive" games if you have to turn of features to have fun.😂

I mean. The battery is not a deal breaker. I always bought a 6-10ft cable for all my consoles because of the battery problems! Im used to it. The price point eh. Even used is $180. Still considering though.

The case also serves for storage when not in use. I wish I’d use my case that came with my elite series 2 controller more often as I’m now the proud owner of a broken elite series 2 controller 😢

I might have to get one cuz I keep getting stick drift and I’m tired 😴 of buy $60 controllers

Splitscreen multiplayer/couch co-op really is dying, but it's the most fun I've had with gaming. Really miss when most games would go out of their way for those modes. Its too rare now

I’m literally so annoyed that the dualsense edge doesn’t automatically come with a white or black option. I don’t like white appliances, now I have to wait until the black is released…

Yeah it's cool and all but it's hardly worth 200 . And I agree the gloss black is doo-doo. Thanks for the review.

Just got my dualsense edge, the x button is a bit mushy(not clicky) and wobbly too... Anybody else faced this?

Ive been a playstation user my whole life and besides the cool triggers and slightly more in depth haptic feedback. Xbox controllers are way better in every other way lol

I play claw, paddles are useless haha. I dont understand why nobody else can seemingly do it tho. Is cramping that bad for those who have tried it?

It's really not worth it guys. Just get a couple dual senses and mod them yourself

It really ought to have an "efficient" mode that turns off all those power hungry features... its totally something they could add in software

A controller case isnt so much for split screen multiplayer as it is for that gaming laptop you've got in your bag for lan parties

Can get a bigger battery off ali express for cheap, did it with my regular dualsense, super easy to swap out and really cheap

If you compare a crappy controller with an original controller, the price vs the quality has no dispute. But when you compare an original controller with a Pro/Edge/Elite controller, the HUGE price gap vs the benefits don't justify the investment for probably 99% of the players. Many probably buy it anyway just for bragging rights and never take fully advantage of it.

All these weebs reviewing the dual sense edge and how it doesn’t suit their needs.. like mf you aren’t the target market..

This controller is exceptional, and is hands down the greatest console controller ever made..

I’ve had two scufs (cheap scammy poorly manufactured rubbish), a strike pack (purely for the paddles, never used any mods) and an astro C40 (which was really good but developed stick drift easily).

The edge is so good and is typical sony high levels of manufacturing quality and RnD.

This mf talking about how good the d-pad is for playing old games.. who tf buys a pro controller for mario…

I’ve had mine since January or maybe early February, and only recently have i seen the tiniest bit of stick drift but it is negligible/almost non existent. The edge is the perfect controller

This controller is aimed at the pro-controller market which is for people playing competitive shooters and other fast paced high-pressure genres. In that market, the price for the controllers IS around 200 but none of the other controllers provide the same standard of build quality.

The biggest thing they got wrong is not having 4 paddles. Huge disappointment and is the only reason I’m not buying

20$ for one stick... thats 40$ for a set... and keeping in mind that the haptic feedback motors are not replaceble and can still break... you're better ofd buying the basic dualsense and replacing it whole ...
