All of them 😩
ОтветитьSuch a good video
ОтветитьThe best advice you can give is to actually go into a Music shop and try out the different types and styles of guitar. Buying a guitar online is one of the worst things you can do to yourself musically
ОтветитьMost of the guitar tone actually comes from the speakers. They're the end of the chain, the final "EQ". You're better off buying a different guitar speaker if you're looking to change your tone.
ОтветитьSometimes the wand chooses the Wizard!
ОтветитьI always tell people starting out to get a hardtail of whatever guitar they think looks coolest to them. Trems are just a pain when you're starting out. Upgrading to locking tuners isn't a bad idea either. Basically, anything to help keep you playing rather than fiddling is a great option on your first guitar.
ОтветитьBro what is that watch you're wearing off 😅 looks awesome, btw amazing video for pick up my second best guitar!
Thanks!
It was only with the seventh acoustic guitar that I tried to play that I felt a connection. I chose an electric guitar based on price and length of the neck, and it seemed like enough was enough, keep learning, but no, I’m constantly looking at other electric guitars, it seems to me that there will be something interesting. Everything is expensive, here you can buy a car for this money. It’s a pity that I’m not a millionaire, otherwise I would have already collected a collection 🤷😏
ОтветитьI want to buy a Gibson ngl
Ответитьwatching this right after I purchased my first guitar :D
ОтветитьI agree with everything you said Rhett, but on top of that it has to be easy to play. When I first started I had a guitar with a high action among other things and I just didn't know better. It was beautiful but just wasn't fun to play, and I quit for years until I learned about proper setups and what action is. So please stress that to newcomers to, because I'm sure thousands and thousands of others like me have quit for no good reason.
ОтветитьI bought my first electric. It's Donnor that has a single humbucker and 2 single coil pickups with 5 way switch. Liked the look and price of it is why I got it. I've never seen that but the guy at guitar store told it's great starter guitar due the humbucker and single coil as it can produce wide range of sounds.
ОтветитьThanks you for all the advices😊
ОтветитьLate to the party on this, but LowEndLobster (bass reviewer) took apart a cheaper Gretsch and found that the "mini buckers" are actually single coil despite looking like a humbucker. Idk if yours has that because it looks very nice. But, it could be potentially worse on a cheaper Gretsch. Maybe that one even had it, that was a lot of feedback. Fbass has humbuckers like this too, and are high end. It's not bad, but should be considered
ОтветитьAny advice concerning which style (pickup) sounds better (more forgiving) on a cheaper amp?
ОтветитьThanks for this video. You described and showed several guitars and pointed out some really important features about them.
ОтветитьGosh dude your les paul sounds so good. Every video you got that in lol.
ОтветитьYou forgot to mention the strings. I've been looking around to see what the best strings to use fro my Squir Affinity SSH and my FF388. Soo many deferent styles to choose.
ОтветитьBeing left handed always limits what I can experience😢
Ответитьwhat riff is he playing
ОтветитьBC Rich for all styles
ОтветитьUnless you are a metal head and need some heavy pick up for it... Pick whatever looks good to you and sounds good to you.
ОтветитьThank you so much for the tips! Really helpful!
ОтветитьCan I give you a "yeah.. but"? What's the difference between a $500 and a $1500 (or $5000) guitar? Based on that info then, is a $1500 guitar "better" than a $500 guitar? Thanks for the great info... I love the idea of "pick a guitar that gets you excited to pick it up and play...". Brilliant.
ОтветитьExcellent video Rhett!
As you Saif, wished there had been a video like this when in the beginning!
I enjoyed it, and Iam sure many will and benefit too!
Thank You
Why do I love watching videos like this when I already know this stuff… and I’m a bass player 🥴
ОтветитьOk, so please forgive the newb question, but why doesn't a modern day ESP have the same tone as a modern day Les Paul? They both have humbuckers, what's the difference?
ОтветитьI love cou try and folk.. but man... when you hit that humbucker it ran through NY ears and into my spine
ОтветитьWhen I started I wanted to play like SRV so I wanted a strat but when I went to the store I picked up a les Paul to explore my other choices and fell in love with the feel and sound and never looked back
ОтветитьI really liked this video, but I wish you included active pickups in the comparison. How would somethingvlike EMG compare?
ОтветитьAll the guitars are right for me
ОтветитьHonestly the placebo effect is real when it comes to guitars when you love the way a guitar looks or you love the sound you play better when I was starting moving from the cheap Strat copy to a Les Paul I picked and that love made me play better and made me want to play more I’ve got friends that have said the same about moving from guitars they started with to the first guitar they picked for themselves
ОтветитьWhat is your setup for stratocaster in this video? what amp and volume/gain settings? I am trying to make my american strat sound similar, but it is way too thin...
ОтветитьFor playing post punk, does anyone have any recommendations
ОтветитьPaleatine flag
ОтветитьAbsolutely great vid! Spot on!!
Ответить👍
ОтветитьLearned so damn much from a single video🔥🔥🔥
Ответить
GRACIAS POR SU VIDEO, UN SALUDO DESDE ESPAÑA.
I’ve been on my path to find that one guitar i like and i found it at place i did not expect. I like to play alot of different genres, from blues to sludge. I allways tought single coils are out of question. But once i got fender strat i felt its that guitar for me. It can do everything for me, and with compression and effects it can do quite heavy stuff despite lacking humbuckers. Also strats are so easy to mod and its okay to slap some stickers on it not worrying about covering flamed maple top etc.
ОтветитьIf I want to sound like Jimmy Page in the EARLIEST days of Zeppelin it’s not a Les Paul that you’d want.
Surely you know this bit of history 🤷🏻 🤷🏼♂️
Loved this vid man, really nice, ty c:
ОтветитьShould I buy Greg Bennet or cort
ОтветитьI have smaller hands so neck size is a big thing for me. I’ve found that a Fender vintage C shape is the best fit. For Gibson’s I can only really comfortably play the 60’s style slimmer necks. I can play the thicker ones but I lose out on capability and comfort. So, that’d be my advice. Check different neck sizes at your local guitar shop until you find one that suits you. Then find a guitar you like with a neck like that.
ОтветитьFeedback is a feature and not a problem.
ОтветитьVery helpful vid. I wish this had been made earlier. Just one thing, I wish you had explained the different selections for the humbuckers. Other than that, great vid. Thanks!
ОтветитьFINALLY an awesome review …I have been searching for this 😘😘😘😘😘👍👍👍👍👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻
ОтветитьI love the look of the Les Paul shape the one i really want though is going to be a bit of saving money
ОтветитьBest of best video , enough for me to find my perfect guitar :)
