Bueno el vídeo . Qué pena que no entiendo nada porqué no sale la traducción . Por eso NO me subscribo.
ОтветитьJust got this and indeed plan on one of those lil stoves but I`d rather put the hole where the vent is....its a bummer. off to the side of the vent I guess then also, I`m a bit concerned that it has no skirts and rather high sides on the fly I`ll have to build major snow banks to keep the heat
ОтветитьI’ve been looking at this tent….love the vestibule size! It’s what drew me to the tent ….but the size and weight makes me nervous for multi day hikes….thoughts?
ОтветитьIf I say anything loud in tent, does Anyone Hear or not
ОтветитьI am curious how much rain can this tent endure, what can I do to improve wind protection?
ОтветитьWould that tent be a good tent to use in heavy snow without a stove? Seems kind of light
ОтветитьWhat is the cost of the Opalus tent?
ОтветитьI have the same tent for over a year and really like it. Do you know what the the hook eyes that are hanging on the inside on roof near the foot end are for??
ОтветитьExcellent review!
ОтветитьI noticed in one of your other videos, you use this tent but it appears that you've modified it to accommodate a wood stove. The ability to incorporate this feature would be a huge selling point. Are you able to give any info/advice or possibly a tutorial on how you installed the stove jack? Thanks.
ОтветитьI wish you had shown putting up the tent WITH the ground sheet. I have never used a tent that did not have an attached bottom.
ОтветитьHi! Where did you buy this tent? Thanks
ОтветитьI gotta say, this must be the most straightforward and comprehensive tent review I've seen. I'm in market for starting camping/hiking myself and I've been consuming camping related videos like there's no tomorrow for the past few weeks and your video made me finally make a decision on the tent, thank you for that !
ОтветитьBrilliant review.
Brilliant tent.
Would love one of these. One question.
Does the footprint cover the porch area please?
Thank you.
Regards 🇬🇧
I don't find the actual volume of the tent, and it's components, in the bag? Moving on the motorcycle the volume is an issue too
ОтветитьLooking to purchase this tent, great review. Everything covered in great detail. Large but relatively light.
ОтветитьIs this deluxe 15D edition or standart 210T ?
ОтветитьI'm pretty keen about this tent, so, thanks for your thorough review. Is there any way that the ventilation can be improved in hot weather by opening up the foot end of the sleeping area? I think I've seen the larger Opalus 3, in a review, opened up in this way. The only other downside I can see is that it isn't a stand alone structure so you can't take the outer tent off to leave the mesh inner. I live in the tropics. Cheers and thanks!
Ответитьcan you make a video how you converted it to a hot tent?
ОтветитьThis tent will not work ! It’s not going to keep out wolves 🐺 and 🐻 bears !!
ОтветитьIs this the 3 person or 2 person?
ОтветитьThanks for showing us the sleeping area, Not. For instance is there a ground sheet stitched on to the bottom of the sleeping area, are we supposed to guess. For my money there is too much tent that is not tent, the area at the front is a waste of space imo.
ОтветитьNot a winter tent , all mesh
ОтветитьCame here from your hot tent video, it reminds me of the Vango spirit 200+, I might add a jack just in case.
ОтветитьI don't see a hole for the wood stove in the tent - did you cut it yourself? i want this specific tent for the wood stove chimney
ОтветитьThank you. You made it a hot tent?
ОтветитьHey lonewolf, me again lol. Do you have a video on how to install a stove jack onto this tent?
ОтветитьI did not buy the naturehike tent on amazon, the price is much more expensive than at collins outdoors
Ответить👍🏕🏔
Ответить"i have enough hot tents, im gonna leave it as is" 10 months later "so heres how to convert a regular tent into a hot tent using the Opalus 2 person tent"
ОтветитьMy post disappeard
ОтветитьDuring heavy rain you ll find yourself floating inside that vestibule 😂
ОтветитьThats a pretty decent Hilleberg Nallo 2 knock off, for considerably less money.
ОтветитьHow do you "make" it a hot tent? Sold that way or making it yourself?
ОтветитьHow does it do in terms of condensation, both in relation to cooking and the sleeping area?
Ответитьnice review, have you used it 2 persons?
ОтветитьHi Longwolf, thank you for the review, I really enjoy (and learn) with any video you published. I am eager to know if you think this would be a good hot tent and where do you setup the stove jacket. Thank you!
ОтветитьThanks for the in depth and clear review- it fully confirms my view of this tent, but... there's a secret feature with this tent- the 'foot end' end the fly can be rolled back to the first pole and there are toggles to hold it back on the underside of the fly sheet near the seam for the pole-sleeve. This makes foot end into a big viewing window and ventilation aid in good weather. I've had this tent for a couple of years now and I think it is a great three season tent and for a change, genuinely a two person tent. The porch is a big bonus in this tent's design- you can sit up, cook, get changed in the dry without messing up the inner with mud and water. A small groundsheet for the porch is useful if you plan to stay at the same spot for a while in wet weather. The fly stretches with the rain and dew so tensioning is often necessary but also extremely straightfordward. I've used it for bike touring and hiking. It is compact enough and light enough for both, although I prefer a smaller footprint for when discretion is required. You can actually get a bike in the porch area- with the wheels removed and there's still enough room in the inner tent for all your gear and leave plenty of room to sleep comfortably- it really is very roomy! A versatile bargain.

ОтветитьHey mate, great review.
Forgive me if you mentioned this and i missed it...
What is the length of the poles when folded?
And would you fit a bike packing bike in the vestibule?
Thanks!
Super helpful!
ОтветитьLove your videos! What is your experience in windy conditions with the Opulus 2? I'm on fence between this tent and the Cloud Peak 2. Thank you!
ОтветитьSi no contestas a la gente no sirven tus videos👎🏻👎🏻
ОтветитьVery nice 🎉🎉
ОтветитьLot's of crawling around. I need more space.
ОтветитьHow much
Ответитьthe best review I've seen.
The only thing I didn't say about the height of the tent is that it is very low and that together with the girl there will not be enough space in height, if you know what I mean.
I used this tent for the first time last month. My area of the country in the north east US has hot and humid summers. I found that this tent does not have very good ventilation as it retained a lot of heat. We had passing thunderstorms over night and the storage area of the tent was completely soaked on the inside. The inner tent did not get wet although I could feel some water hitting me.
ОтветитьCan you please test this in heavy rain please❤❤❤❤
ОтветитьHow has it held up 3 years later ?
