I watched the movie and I'm still furiously ruminating on this scene. I'm very impressed by Homura being able to keep her cool, just long enough to interrogate Kyuubey before beating him to a pulp (too bad he went unscathed from that). The way he smugly explained his plans to trap Madokami and bring back the witch system has me vibrating in anger. I really, really wanna punch that lil bastard in the face so bad.

Then, I remember posts agreeing and explaining how Kyuubey did nothing wrong and that the girls are at fault for agreeing to contracts with him in the first place? Well, guess what? HE'S A GOƉƉAMN LOAN SHARK, OF COURSE HE'LL GO AFTER NAIVE AND DESPERATE TARGETS, WHY ARE YOU BLAMING THE GIRLS WHO DON'T KNOW WHAT THEY'RE GETTING INTO? The girls got the short end of the stick, basically being robbed of a future, of second chances and of being able to make mistakes and learn from them without turning into a ticking time bomb as a consequence.

ever since the time homura told kyubey everything , he was curious about it to the point of creating an isolation field around homura's soul gem to see if magical girls can really turn into witches and also make the law of cycles ( aka madoka ) do his bidding .

You know, I think about how Homura's witch familiars are supposed to be antagonistic and cruel to their master, but at the same time I see all of this as another aspect to her world and her familiars. They deeply care and love Madoka so much that the only moment Homura and her familiars are unified and working together towards is protecting Madoka. Everything in her world trying to repeatedly kill Kyubey before finally deciding to accelerate the curse and kill herself. In the end, she wants to die, and her familiars reflect her cursing herself for her own weakness in being unable to both save Madoka and protect her.

Homura had two parts to her wish, to meet Madoka all over again but to also protect her. Yes one was fulfilled but not the other half so why would he be so foolish as to say shouldn’t she be happy she got her wish? She technically didn’t even get it.

is he afraid of the universe collapse? afraid of die? but he specie don't have emotions? he specie isn't immortal? what are truly incubators intention? everything that they say looks like a big lie to me. I think they are just truly evil and want to spread despair for the world for absolutely no reason.
