I LOVE THIS GAME

This physical game is so hard to find

I recently got the Definitive Edition and was gobsmacked by the amount of content. I always tend to have a few long play challenges on the go (Pokemon Shiny Living Dex, Binding Of Issac) and now this, thanks for reminding me how brutal this is going to be haha and well done, absolutely amazing!

On my way to complete it. Im always trying to complete all the Nintendo warrior's series. Hyrule warriors and age of calamity. Fire emblem warriors and fire emblem warriors three house. Wish me luck and will post a video of all of it done in probably 7 years or more lol.

Hyrule warriors is a great game but it has so much content it's honestly over whelming

As someone else who has 100% completed everything including the DLC, I feel this pain

Play age of calamity, its only 80 hours

It's only 3-400 hours for 100%

I assume this is the reason why there's no Hyrule Warriors Age of Calamity in your channel this game truly traumatized you.

I'm currently doing this as well, getting a true 100% completion on this. I've been at it for the last couple weeks while my laptop's been at repairs. It's been taking way much longer than I anticipated, but might take a small break once I finally get it back... or reduce the amount of time I'm spending on this a bit.

A major challenge with being a completionist is that you probably could never play an MMORPG. If you are really dedicated to complete every game you start, then a lot of games will probably just be out of the question. I can't imagine how many hours it would take to finish a game like Elder scrolls online or Guild Wars 2. Even by the time you finish it new content will be out.

I'm curious how many people actually played Adventure Mode versus just played the Story. I was definitely in the later camp. The Adventure Mode, and especially the fairy bullshit, looked insanely tedious.

As being someone heading to go to the 100% speedrun and still working on getting every character to its most efficient while playing.😂

I was skeptical at first, thinking oh it’s just a musou game. But no. This game might be one of the best gaming purchases I’ve made. I can’t put it down

I love torture just as much as you do when this video came out I started playing that game again and I have 100% all the adventure maps with the A rank and all drops but for some reason the master sword K O things are still locked. Do you have any advice?

Most of my guys are lvl 40, working with underpowered weapons and I'm still getting A ranks first try on the Hero difficulty maps. There are ZERO character exclusive materials and a lot of the other elements are exaggerated (like the difficulty, but not the lack of explanation, of the My Fairy system). If you're enjoying the game, you'll have a lot of fun with the completion process. If you're not, step away and come back in a year or so when you want to play again

That said: you do indeed need some guides or a wiki page for my fairy food, material drops needed for badges and the best place to farm them, weapon locations and maybe adventure map secrets. And any game that requires that is a complicated game, and this game doesn't explain itself well.
But it's about a 350-hour completion journey, the internet is super helpful when it comes to figuring stuff like this out, and it's nowhere as bad, complicated or difficult as Jirard makes it seem.

I do wanna say that I don't think Jirard is lying to his audience or anything. It must've been miserable doing this by playing for an hour or two a day for years, and I can understand why he hated it and exaggerated it in his mind. And I'm sure this exaggerated truth feels accurate to his experience. But at the same time, it's also not an accurate depiction of this game and its struggles.
If you read this Jirard, I hope this comment doesn't offend you in any way. I love your content, including this video, I just felt the need to speak out on the exaggerations and inaccuracies that were clearly brought on by either emotion or desire for more inteexcitingtent

Though my experience that it "didn't take that long" is also probably colored by my bias as a Monster Hunter player who only starts to see something as "long" at the 5500-hourmark lol. (Or maybe my experience as a One Piece fan). So who knows

I just got this game and im enjoying it quite a bit, I've tried fire emblem and I dont really like botw style. But this one just scratches an itch I never knew I had.

I also 100%ed this game. It was fun and never really felt like a slog... except for the fairies. Seriously, fuck the fairies.

Fun fact: this is one of the only games Nintendo hasn’t reprinted for the Switch. Assume what you will.
