Hello. Im a little confused about gluing the screen, specifically camera on an S10, you said "dispense 2 drops on the OTHER side of the camera" should i just do like you did and glue the camera or is there more?

Useless. The gel did not work and the uv light failed after 2 minutes. The gel would not solidify. Complete waste of money.

I understand removing the front facing camera before gluing the new glass on, so that the glue doesn't dribble onto the lens.

But isn't glue just gonna dribble into the void left by the removed camera?, and also dry in that position on the glass, causing focus problems when we re assemble? Or do we dab the camera hole with iso on a cotton tip? But then wouldn't that eat the glue and wick into the glue?

Also, I don't get the point of the stickers? We put them on the display, then glue the glass over the top, then try and pull them out after the glue is spread? I noticed the new camera spot things in the new vid and I don't get if that is the intention with them too?

Where do you get the thermometer tape from?

Watch heating, display can discolor very quickly. Keep thermometer tape on the exact area you're heating, edges get hotter quicker.. Filament wire kept breaking and getting stuck under the display making it harder to use the next piece in the same area. Practice on a phone you don't care about first. I would weigh the cost of purchasing a new refurb phone and trading in cracked phone vs. ruining while trying to repair. Also, might want to reset before you attempt lest you ruin display and can on longer access phone visuals.

When you take the back plate off, don't you need to replace the adheasive in order to retain the waterproofing of the phone?

unfortunately for me this didn't work for me, I was using the wire tool trying to remove the glass plate when suddenly de digitazer broke, the sceen went blank on the most part, and the part wich was still vissible was mostly green and lines. I'm sure I did something wrong and I would like to know what it is. did I not apply enough heat or was I just trying to hard or was it just bad luck?

Yo screw this the chance of making a mistake is way too high I would rather replace the entire screen it's way easier but if you are on a budget and don't care if you break anything I say go for it

Can i replace the glass from another screen?i replaced the full screen once and the glass wasnt damaged on the old one.

Pleeease say this works on Note9 too it kinda got skipped TTaTT I now have 2 Note9s that need glass repairs and. Yeah. I would love to be able to fix em without paying the price for a new Note9 (which will be the only phone I hold now till the day I die if I can just stop cracking them 😭😭😭)

This is really a tricky work. Given mine to a service for 150 Bucks.

I have been able to remove the old glass. Display is ok but touch screen only works when you hold the phone with your hand or you touch the phone body.
On non conductive places the touch wont work.
Seems like is missing some ground stuff. Is it normal and will work as always with the new glass and glue or I damaged it somehow?
Someone else had same problem? S20 fe

Please do the Samsung S22 Ultra. I cracked it's front glass. Nobody here wants to replace just the front glass, everyone wants to replace the digitzer+battery pack which costs over $330. Authorized dealer shops ask for $500 for the replacement.
