Excellent instruction
ОтветитьAwesome! thanks for this great video. I never got my left hip over my lead heal
ОтветитьSubscribed very easy to understand
ОтветитьWonderful !!!- Weight shift/Extension/Rotation - combine with the correct release ... ball just gets in the way- compresses and flies miles!!!
ОтветитьGreat drill. Stopped me dragging left all the time
ОтветитьGreat, I actually had to re learn my follow through due to back pain, this video helped a lot !
ОтветитьThanks!
Ответитьthis is something I am working on- thanks for the drill.
ОтветитьFantastic video sir
ОтветитьBy far the clearest and simplest breakdown of what a follow-thru swing should be, complete with form examples at key points in the swing. This video is the "glue" that binds and completes information from other videos explaining the the same concept, but in an incomplete way.
ОтветитьWhacked that nail on the head. Those three faults is exactly what I feel happens whenever I duff my hit. I'm going to try to feel these three pointers today as the reasons for a good clean hit. Thank you!
ОтветитьWhat if I have flat feet and I can't shift my weight onto my left foot without rolling my ankle everytime. Even if I tilt my foot outwards. I realized I turn into a baseball swing to prevent turning my ankle.
ОтветитьLiterally had a lesson this morning where point 3, rotation, was my main issue which led to the <wait for it... drum roll> the wrist hinge/flick you mentioned. Love the no BS vid, subbed.
ОтветитьI agree with almost everything being taught here but it does look like there is a fairly significant amount of club-face rotation in your swing. I think in the modern swing the best ball strikers have less face rotation throughout the swing and don’t rely so much on timing. I’m trying to get wider in my swing now and move the butt end of the club as far away from me as possible while swinging over a stable head position, keeping the arm as straight as possible as long as possible into the follow through. Maybe it’s the angle you’re shooting from but I can’t let my right hand turn over like that without timing it too perfectly to be consistent. Again, could just be the angle of the shot…
ОтветитьThis is the best best video! I so needed this to make my swing 100% better! Jonathan u r so underrated! Thank u. So easy & detailed instructions
ОтветитьBuddy this tutorial is one of the best I've seen since I started Sept 22. Thanks.
Ответить좋은 영상 감사합니다. 내일 연습해 볼께요! last 3 mins drill video is short and easy to understand. what a great lesson video
ОтветитьNice explanation and great drill
Ответитьl love your style of teaching, l will certainly practice those principals you advocate, l am 79 years old and live in New Zealand and currently on 12 handicap, l have been as low as 9 but have worsened over the last few months, after watching your video's l am now on the way down to my target of 7 handicap, thank you once again, keep your instruction coming, l look forward to following you regularly. Cheers.
ОтветитьCan’t wait to go to the range right now!!! I can’t believe how simple you make this. And also saving me 1400$ for 3 months lol. SUBSCRIBED.
Ответить🎉🎉😊😊❤❤
ОтветитьBrilliant explanation! Thank you
ОтветитьQuestion: Have you ever taught someone who had such odd proportions in their body that it was exceedingly difficult for them to develop a nice swing?
I'm 6'4, but I have the legs of someone who is 6'6, and the upper-body of someone who is about 6'0. When I watch my swing on camera, it just looks WEIRD (even though mechanically it should be sound.)
Or, do you feel that (with proper club sizing) all people can develop a aesthetic and practical swing?
Def a higher handicap here and I’ve actually managed to injure myself not following through the motion completely after striking the ball. It’s my intercostal (rib area) on the trail side. Gonna emphasize this making my way back, thank you!
ОтветитьFor me, the main issue is definitely not extending my arms forward after impact rather straight, it is more a question of triggering the power at the right time, or right sequence, i.e. not too early. I found out this morning at the range that most of my best strokes came from releashing the power "late", nearly just at the time of impact or very close to before.
So far I could not come across YT vids able to deliver appropriate set of drills to deal with that particular technical point.
Could you pls post one or two videos on that topic? Thx. ✌️😉
Appreciate this tip so much. Been working on my swing forever and couldn’t find a good video explaining the positions until I found this.
ОтветитьWhat do you feel like is controlling the swing/start the down swing? I feeling like my swing is controlled my my left forarm
ОтветитьTerimakasih Janothan kim saya nyimaj
ОтветитьReally like this… 6 hcp and i use a zepp to see my swing path… I always had a poor extension through the ball.. this changed that night and day….thank-you Jonathan….Big fan here…. Now how do i hole those 4 footers!
ОтветитьThanks!
ОтветитьJonathan, you are a breath of fresh air! The follow through has always eluded me, but no longer. I feel a chest expansion from the follow through position to the finish now- always wondered how to get there. Thank you!! 🎉
ОтветитьHi Jonathan - love your videos - but what I would like to know is and I am sure it is mentioned is some of your posts but at what point do you move your weight/hips forward in the swing? Is it at the completion of the backswing or at the downswing or as you swing back on the takeaway? Hoping you can clarify.
ОтветитьYou are the only one explain every single detail and really open my mind how swing follow through must be. No one else will do. Thanks Jonathan. 👍
ОтветитьBig help to me. Your explanation was clear and concise. Love your videos.
ОтветитьIt’s a great drill, I had a breakthrough moment because of this particular video.. and yeah I really feel like I’m 90% of the way .. that last 10% may as well be another 90% of work moving forward lol
ОтветитьYour a great instructor “J”
ОтветитьI am having a series of winter golf lessons where my club pro identified that my swing needed better weight transfer. Jonathans video has helped me understand the weight transfer and follow through process in more detail which will really help me improve. I am hoping that this mix of club pro lessons with Jonathans videos should help towards the elusive goal of a single figure handicap.
Ответитьthank you. Do you give classes too? Where?
Ответитьgreat explanation on this.... clear and concise
ОтветитьThe writer and director filmographies make it seem like they were going for a kids movie, which makes perfect sense if they were planning to mirror the tone of Shazam. But then the tone seems different and Shazam is ignored.
ОтветитьI took a 10 hr course with a golf teacher but couldn't learn one third of the things I learned from your videos. Thank you so much.
ОтветитьPerfect lessons, just hope now I can achieve improvement with your swing suggestions. Will need a crib to not forget the moves, have you one?
ОтветитьHandsome.......
ОтветитьOne of the best explanations on how to execute a great follow through. Thank you, Jonathan!
ОтветитьGreat tip l know this will help from hitting too many thin shots I’ll try this tomorrow thanks johnathan
ОтветитьJonathan
Thanks, great videos and I am going to try this correct follow through and correct extension keeping the arm straight.i will let you know my progress on this lesson.
great drill 👍
ОтветитьMy great problems on this issue, Thanks.
ОтветитьWatched your video three hours ago, went to the range, and guess what I hit the best pure iron shots ever, this is one of the best instructions vids out there.
Jonathan thank you for the video
First of all, so thankful for all these videos. I find that my follow thru tend to be abbreviated and my body's lateral movement is a lot on my downswing. Seems very difficult to change.
