Nurse Jar, I keep being told different things by different people, do you mind telling me the correct answer? I noticed you didn't remove your gloves and put on new ones before you went to wash the buttocks. I've heard you don't have to and heard you will fail if you don't. Help 😢 I take my skill test soon!

I had no luck with Credentia. I tried to recertify in SC and submitted everything they requested and still did not certify me. I had given them a letter from my home state saying I had 135 training hours and a certificate and they would not. I even gave them my 2 associate degrees. I saw a lot of negative things about that company, cancelling testing dates last minute, and so fourth.

We originally learned with 6 washcloths, at the end we were told 3, now im confused. I got it using 4 washcloths but 3, I dont get.

When you lift the botock your arm is contaminated ??

Thank you Nurse Jar, I completed a refresher course for the CNA position, about 3 1/2 weeks ago. We were taught to always use a bath blanket for extra comfort, privacy and warmth; when providing perineal care.

Do i not dry the middle and open it when i do it i didn't see u do it do i figured i didn't have to ...

Been watching nurse jar for a week now in the process of being either a certified caregiver or CNA .working as a in training caregiver in my home town now and I love her videos really give me a better understanding of each task.

Nurse Jar. Thank you for answering my questions so quickly.
I am a retired OB RN. for financial reasons I need to go back to work. I have a CNA position waiting for me in the OB unit where I worked.
My concern is due to being older I cannot get up from a kneeling position, without using an arm for extra lift. this would fail me doing foot care..
i dont know if I should continue on and pray not to receive this skill. I am just waiting for a date to take the exam.
I hope you have read this, and have some advice for me.

Good evening Nurse JAR. My brother funeral was pn sat February qqth and I had go take my state written exam on Monday the 13th n I passed. I have skills on the 18th which is this coming Sat. I am so nervous but I know I can do it and God has me. I just wanted to know if u can give me any pointers and if you have to put down clean barrier if not required and do steps have to be in order? I kno the critical element steps have to be in order and performed correctly?

Good Evening Nurse Jar, I just wanted to let you know you are an ANGEL hundred times over. I had an excellent teacher for the nurse aid class but it does not prepare you for skills testing. It is definetly different. If I had not watched every video you made (twice sometimes three times), I would have never been able to go in with confidence. You are the reason I pass the 1st time. I failed on this skill because I did dried the buttocks by dabbing instead of wiping. Is that correct or should I have been given credit for drying by dabbing as you did?
