What Are Niche Perfumes and How Do They Compare To Designer Fragrances? - Fragrance: 101

Its so ironic how many times someone's thumbnail shot has the fragrances I'm wearing. I'm wearing sauvage and my jacket is still putting off a slight BR540 from when I sprayed it Tuesday.
When it come to niche or designer or clone, it all depends on the smell. I love Parfum de Marley, and the 2 I have, Layton and Herod, I find are well worth the money because I personally think I can smell a difference.
However I am no fragrance snob, one of my favorites is Nautica Voyage and a cheap $20 sandalwood & juniper berry scent I got from Target.
If it smells good, and I want it, I'll buy it.

Buy designers to please others. Buy niche to please yourself.

I see the quality and appeal of niche . But not all niche are great just like not all designer are great . I’m in a point in my life where I where what I like wether it’s $10 fragrance or a 500 dollar one . 👌

I keep niche for special purchases. Bleecker St and Naxos are on my wish list, but for everyday wear I go designer or clone.

This was beautifully explained. Some people try to over complicate it lol. Have you noticed the designer brands are releasing people are willing to spend silly money on niche brands, so they are starting to Jack their prices up as well lol.

أخي عطور النيش هي العطور الي تنتج بكميات محدودة وفي الأغلب أغلى لانها تستخدم زيوت طبيعية ،، بينما عطور الدزاينر تنتج بكميات أكبر وايضا تدخل فيها زيوت صناعيه وفي العادة ارخص
،، ولكن للعلم توجد حالات شاذه مثلا ديور تعتبر دزاينر ولكن لهم عطور نيش نسخ محدودة الكمية.

Thank you so much for this. I’m rather new to the whole niche/designer fragrance world. I know what I like but have recently gotten in to the nuts and bolts of this. While I’m CRAZY about Graff’s Lesedi La Rona III and Givenchy L’interdit Rouge Ultime, I love Lattafa Khamrah and Kay Ali Vanilla 28🤷🏽‍♀️ and others. I’m not sure what’s niche, but walking in to Macy’s - Good Girl Blush by C Herrera is on point for me too 😊! Is that considered “designer”? I don’t know, I just feel like whatever you like, and whatever works is great whether it’s niche or designer. And for someone like me, I don’t necessarily know the difference, I simply like what I like😄😄😄😃!!

Niche perfumes are cutting their nose to spite their face. The average working jg class guy cant afford the luxury of 200.00 a bottle ....so the niche houses think they are catering to an "exclusive" crowd but in fact they are losing "the long game" by alienating a potential large pool of future consumers by breeding resentment and reluctance to "splurge" insane amounts on their houses....
Fragrance snobs are a special class of clowns .😅
