I 100% every region before moving forward is because I don't pull at all on my 2nd account😅😂. Don't really need primos this way

I did the same for Mondstadt and hated not having the treasure compass. So my rule became: Don't force the 100%, grab stuff as I go past it, but don't focus those 100%s till getting the compass for that region.

Day one player, and I just realized 3 weeks ago when doing Jeht world quest that by doing world quests, you do the exploration at the same time.

Side quests never interested me before in any games, the only « side » lore I followed was the Captainverse on HI3rd, and since 3.0 I’m too lazy to do exploration.

So I think I sat on a whole pity of free primo-gems by now, because I couldn’t do the events.

My personal advice is to do your quests like normal do your casual exploration if you want but always put a pin on the map where you found a chest or put a letter on the map where you found an oculi collectable. That way you can go to the grnshin interactive map, and mark what you took so you wont miss a single thing. And it wont feel like a boring chore getting every last dang chest. The compass doesnt show buried chests or chests belonging to puzzles or first time enemy rewards. And the map shows 100% when you're actually closer to 70% . Theres a lot of character exp, world level exp , artifacts exp, weapons exp, and primogems sitting in chests so dont sleep on it.

And now the new event is in Mondstadt 😂

So I recently just started to 100% some areas since I have time to do that in between updates. But I'm a little lost, what does it mean when you 100% an area but still find chests and other hidden items in that area? I thought 100% meant you're done exploring that part of the map?

I think that’s only the correct course of action IF this is your second account/playthrough. If you’re playing for the first time then just go at your own pace, and I would actually encourage to explore and enjoy the place you’re in and do quests. It adds a lot to the experience, and yeah you may miss out on events along the way, but it won’t be everything, and it’s not like you haven’t missed out on events already.

Agree, lately I've kept some regions not 100% until I got a character which I like to use to explore

My account is 99% Explored in Mondstadt. The one of the hardest part is no detected the Anemo Compass on Starfell Valley.

this is why genshin will always be worse compared to star rail cuz in star rail even if you dont have the area unlocked you can still go and do the event

just explore backwards starting from the newest regions... monstad liyue and inazuma got shit rewards, and sumeru is pain in the ass.... fontaine is godlike and natlan as well...

wdym mean at ar22 they put the teleports for fontaine on the map. even if the area is dark still. Zoom in. you can still do the events without having things unlocked.

i had every single way point and statue (except inazuma) by the time i completed monstad

dont worry bro i didnt do the arataki rock event that happend in inazuma even though i did have access to Inazuma because i was too busy exploring lol

I didn't worry about 100% until I was caught up with the archon questing everything (for me I started playing during the inazuma region and it took me until chasm to be caught up. Now I can keep up with the archon and other quests and then worry about 100%. However. As a mostly f2p player, I 100% a region because that is how I get my primos.

getting the sumeru sigil submission to lv 50 was soo time consuming, but it was fun.

I feel called out lol. I'm AR38, started Inazuma just to be able to get The Catch and been focusing just on Mondstadt to get 100% in all areas. Completely neglected exploring Liyue too... Although in my case I'm just scared of how hard Inazuma sounds, and that's because my team feels underwhelming in terms of damage

Nowadays when a new region comes out, my main priority is the teleporters. Get to the statues, waypoints, and domains. Though these days new regions are attached to long quests, so sometimes I just get the teleporters as I progress the quest, like Ochkanatlan.

I unlocked sumeru at like at 17 whenever I see a lv31 character or higher I just spam sprint and run for your life until I get to the statue of seven or ask my at 46 friend

Well after you progress ingame and later you go back to old regions to explore but get less rewards from regions like monstad and liyue like they get cut in half *'sigh 😔

I'm stuck on the first part of natlan, after a month of exploring and trying to get at least 80% for the primos, but I only got 71 and I can't seem to find more chests/pyroculus

Just like, to play a video game, wifi & battery is more important than the video game itself.
So, to progress the game more efficiently & get all rewards, one should rush & do all important quests & leave exploration for later in the game.

Bro I just started genshin like 2 weeks ago and I have fully completed Fontaine Sumeru over half of Natlan Mondstadt and Liyue ISTG AM I COOKED CHAT

I mean every new region drop, I always focused on unlocking and 100% the area before doing any quests

Unlock all teleports is a must for f2P, only problem is having a massive endless quest list if you go off track 😅

I'm doing something similar where I try not to unlock a region until the story takes me there, and while I do kind of regret not going for events and stuff, I also feel like it makes my experience better seeing the regions for the first time when I'm supposed to go there

Always 100% the Archon quests, world quests and teleport waypoints of entire map before trying to 100% exploration

Whenever a new region comes out, i set aside some time to get every waypoint i can get withouth doing quests then i do the archon quest, explore here and there. And many frel pressured by the exploration rewards in Natlan but thats just a cherry on top for ppl like me. U got 2 patches to explore until 80% which is not that hard to get if ur a casual ish explorer

Yeah I’m a pretty new player and I’m only part way through the Liyue main story but I have areas in Sumeru opened up and a lot of Natlan explored so I’ve been able to do all the events since 5.1. It helps that I also have Xilonen, Chasca, and Ororon which makes traversal super easy and I have to farm Natlan materials to level them up anyways so I’ve spent so much time in Natlan even though I’ve never been to Fontaine or Inazuma yet.

As an f2p that's the worst desison you ever did 😭😭 didn't know there's people doing that.

I have everywhere 100%. It's long and tiring but very fun when I actually increase the percentage. I 100% the newest Natlan area in like 3-5 days.

What I do is.. I explore the region when I am collecting materials for my characters. The materials are in all different parts so it's easier to just explore while you are on your way.

In my point of view inzuma and sumera and foutain is worth to explore, as F2P player. As well focus world quest, u need the primogems, save up for good dps and sub dps and sup. Just focus making ur first team to go for aybss.

Hey Doro, I had actually noticed something in the travelers design, if you go into his profile and turn him around you’ll see what looks to be 2 identical scars on the back of his elbows, I’m not sure if these actually are scars or not but it is a detail that has caught my interest

And here I thought he scrapped the Black Iron Sword again.
