Thank you for sharing a great interview!! I do not feel the need to go to the Continent as my family is indigenous to the Americas. We are doing quite well here. We own acres and acres of land, and we are very enterprising and progressive families, aiding people who needs it. It has always been that way with my family assisting individuals who are less fortunate. I have traveled to 47 African countries over the years and have not felt a connection to the land. I am not going to front; I am being real. Because we are told we are from Africa is not necessarily so in my opinion. We are told many untruths, and they are being revealed presently. The lies that we are taught, has to be untaught. That will be the great awakening of the masses, and it will be divine. Peace & Love!
ОтветитьHi family! Has she sold yet? What is the best way to get in touch with her?
ОтветитьI stayed at One Africa in 2018 and I really enjoyed the experience. It was warm and welcoming and I felt cared for once there. The food was healthy and freshly cooked and it felt like home away from home.
ОтветитьOur Esteemed Elder Should be Honored in some way Yearly...Like Wode Maya.
ОтветитьShe's is telling the truth
Ответитьomg was it sold??
ОтветитьSistah Imahkus, I have been reaching out to you for a long time! Please check in. I’m planning to reach Rwanda. Text me or email!
ОтветитьWhat an inspirational woman ! Always looking forwards to her interviews
Ответитьunapologetic nomads that was a beautiful pod cast
ОтветитьWonderful interview, by a dynamic family, of a beautiful Queen Mother. I truly miss Rwanda and plan to visit soon. I met this beautiful Queen in Ghana in 1994, and as the powers that be would have it, we met her again in 2020 when I moved to Rwanda and she indeed opened her beautiful home to me also. What a blessed, spiritual, loving, and giving Sistah!! Much love to all of you!
ОтветитьMama Imahkus is a true QUEEN. I'm 32 yrs old and had the honor to meet her in Ghana at One Africa Resort in elimina, Ghana back in 2019. I absolutely luv her
ОтветитьThat was a beautiful, educational, fun loving interview. Laughed and learned a lot. Thank you very much. Mamma One Africa is a wise woman and full of Love. God bless you all. ❤
ОтветитьIt was a pleasure meeting her in Ghana back in 2018
ОтветитьWhy don't she lease it instead of outright selling it?
ОтветитьRight !!!! Come to Africa to add not to expect and be a part of ! I like her , come be the community
Ответить@unapologetic nomads thank you for this interview. Mama Amakus is a real Queen and a true gem. I had the opportunity to visit One Africa while in Ghana and she was in Rwanda at the time. I was able to have dinner and take pictures with her son. It was beautiful! I can’t wait to get back to Ghana and I soooooo want to visit Rwanda. Maybe I will get a chance to meet Mama Amakus there!!!! 😁🇬🇭☺️🙏🏾
ОтветитьShe made all the money in Ghana and took it to Rwanda.
ОтветитьAfricans in the diaspora probably don't have any ancestry from Rwanda or Tanzania; more likely Sierra Leone, Nigeria, Cameroon, Angola, etc.
ОтветитьInterestingly, Mama IMAKHAUS advocates that the US (aka 'America') is not the home of Blacks, but Africa is. The scholarship shows that the Trans-Atlantic Slave Trade is the conduit that facilitated the forced migration Africans to the US and other parts of the Western Hemisphere. The Unapologetic Nomads seem to advocate that the Diaspora Blacks in the US are basically ancestrally indigenous to the US. If my observation is correct, there is a disconnect in what Mama IMAKHAUS and Unapologetic Nomads are saying. Scholarship and indepth research is on her side in the issue I have raised. However, can people in the comment section wrestle with the dichotomy. perhaps a discussion needs to be done because lots of people are confused on multi-levels with the use of different terms and associated origin concepts and constructs: FBA, ADOS, FREEDMEN, INDIGENOUS, AFRICAN and so on and so forth.
ОтветитьWell done
ОтветитьYou only have to make sure you don't complain after staying in Rwanda, every country has it issue
ОтветитьHow do we contact her ?
ОтветитьShe is quite beautiful for her age! Sorry to lose you in Ghana. We still love you. As for corruption you need to do a due diligence concerning people you are dealing with. Most people in Ghana will go heaven and earth to do everything for you. Others will pull you down. Just surround yourself with good people and influence the bad folks to get better, don’t let them take advantage of you. Peace✌️
Ответить❤. What kind of house y’all got 😊
I have a surprise for y’all coming soon 💕
The current government in Ghana has raised corruption to different level. The President is not bothered about the living standard of its citizens. All they do is to use our tax monies to hype the country for outsiders to come in, and when they come in, nothing happens.
ОтветитьIt's time for her to rest.
ОтветитьSell the property but don't sell the name. Don't need some random european, arab, asia business called one Africa.
ОтветитьYou all should know Mama IMAHKÜS is the exact same in person as she is on camera! We first visited their resort in 2000 and many times since. Her husband made one helluva an impact on me and others and he is missed dearly!!! Thanks for this interview!
ОтветитьAfrica is Africa. Wherever you want to live is your own decision. You still have another choice of 52 states.
ОтветитьSmart move for her as her son has run it into the ground, imho! While I was there I was surprised to see how awful everything looked and the lack of attention and function at the facility.
ОтветитьDate. Girl. U got your groove on 😅
ОтветитьThere was a video I look at a couple off hr ago. It. There was so much poverty in Ghana they were asking for help. They were speaking about the corruption and yes they rip you off they are having a field day on the Diaspora returning - it is so sad That. Your money was taken and the job was not done. It is also important to do your research before U get there
ОтветитьI always told myself that I never want to go where there are too many diasporas...I want to go where there are fewer diasporas... every time you have an influx of too many people coming in anywhere you will always have these situations happening
ОтветитьWas this click bait!?
ОтветитьAmerikkka new term I have learnt.
Ответитьlooking good mom
Ответитьcheck out ex-pat life Ghana
ОтветитьInflation is a problem everywhere the price of food is so high in America. Since the ancestors led her to the land then WHY not find a way for a reliable person to hold on to it since she now lives in Rwanda.
Ответить🙏🏾❣️
ОтветитьHmmm.I thought her children were looking after her resort when she is away travelling.
ОтветитьImakhus is beautiful inside and out . She used to invite me and my band to play at her events . Infact they ( meaning herself and the late hubby) supported me musically . ❤
ОтветитьPeople don't know Rwanda is sitting on time bomb after dictator kagame regime Rwanda will not be the same.
ОтветитьImakhus husband was made a Chief of that village . RIP Nana Iture ❤ May his gentle soul continue to rest in perfect peace .
ОтветитьIf she really sells her place I will buy it. How can I contact her?
ОтветитьMy girlfriend loss $70,000 on a Property in Pram Pram to close family members. Very sad😢
ОтветитьWe are visiting Rwanda in June for one month. If we love it, we will probably move permanently. There are 8 of us coming. Hope to meet this lovely lady.
