I've lost weight a few times in my life and again I am in a situation where I feel heaviness in my body, I've gained weight and need to lose atleast 15 kgs but this time it is getting very hard to do, I know what needs to be done but just not able to start.

I am just starting to workout again. This is the 5th time starting. I failed the other times, one pulled muscle and the others I took a couple days off and just never felt like going back.

This time I am bound and determined to not fail, even if I take a couple days off. I have a friend who’s a personal trainer who’s going to help me for a couple months to help me keep motivated too. I have a positive mindset. I know it may take awhile.

I’m at my heaviest of 179 lbs and looking to get down to 155-160 of muscle replacing fat and I keep an image of me with my abs forming. I have set a goal of 8 months. I’m hoping I’ll make that goal if not before but I’m staying positive. I’ve watched 2 of your videos and they have me looking more forward to the future so thank you.

I have started a weight loss plan. I can last about 3 weeks then I give up. But since covid happened I have lost 14 of the 29 pounds I gained. I just need to get back on track. I have made a meal plan that I hope will not leave me feeling hungry. Hope I can lose the weight I need to. Thanks. Appreciated your videp.

Also I’d like to know how to stay motivated AFTER I lose weight. People call it maintaining your weight. I find maintenance the hardest place to stay motivated.

I lost 80 lbs in 2020. I said to myself, “I’m not going to do it unless I keep it off this time!” But here I am 2 1/2 years later and have gained 30 lbs back. So I’m searching for how I can get that mindset back on eating healthy for a lifetime and “staying motivated.

I wanna get slimmer thighs. I workout Everyday, but i've not really been on a diet and today unlike other days i ate much more than i usually do. I feel so depessed and unmotivated now

That’s incredible advise, I started my journey 4 days ago and I just over ate again but with healthy food instead. Still over ate though. But when you said that the real motivation come from seeing results was an ah ha moment for me because I can’t expect to get proper motivation for at least 3-4 weeks. I need to get through the 3-4 weeks of just doing it before I get the reward of motivation

It is very simple. But it is also very stressful.
You body cannot store fat and at the same time USE your stored fat.
Insulin hormone controls fat storage. While you have Insulin in your blood you cannot USE your stored fat.
Insulin is released by your pancreas when you have more glucose in your blood than what your body can use.
Insulin causes Glucose converted to triglycerides and the triglycerides are stored as fat. While there is Insulin in your blood you cannot USE your stored fat.
ALL carbohydrates are metabolised into glucose. Carbohydrates are any grains breads pastas candies sugars fruits cakes starchy vegetables potatoes carrots yams rice quinoa barley wheet couscous anything at all made from any grain anything at all made from starchy vegetables anything ar all made from fruit.
If you cut out carbohydrates it takes 2 days to clear Insulin from your blood.
When the blood is clear of Insulin your body starts using your stored fat. Your body has no other option. You must have glucose. Glucose is your fuel. Your body will finally convert your fat into glucose.
For 3 days cut out ALL and any carbohydrates. Eat as much protein fat and green leafy vegetables as you like. You will find you body automatically limits how much protein fat and green leafy vegetables you will want to eat.
Cutting out all carbohydrates will make you feel STARVING HUNGRY. Eat any protein fats green leafy vegetables, you dont need to starve. Your body is so dependent on glucose it will try to force you to eat carbohydrates.
After 3 days you can eat a slice of toast a day, KEEP OFF carbohydrates.
After a while you get used to the constant starving hunger, even though you are EATING protein fats green leafy vegetables.
After 4 days you will notice you body is burning up your internal fat.
You will notice fat is leaving your legs and gluts. It takes much longer to lose the belly fat in your skin, but eventually it will also reduce.
Thing about fat cells. Fat cells dont die immediately. First they shrink and wait for the triglycerides to be stored, fat cells refill very very quickly. So after you lose weight it is very very easy to regain if you revert to a high carbohydrate diet. It takes years for your body to destroy fat cells, your body will destroy fat cells on a , lose it if you dont use it, basis. If you refill your fat cells your weight will return and all your effort's will be for nothing.

I lost about 13 pounds a year ago and I feel like I’m getting fatter again and so I don’t have that motivation anymore to lose weight but I really want to and I’m trying to get back to it

i am already expecting that i won't be getting results until a month or so because i have done my researches, and i believe to myself that i can do this until i lose weight and get rid of my biggest insecurity, i will be cocky and be confident that all these effort i'm putting in each day will pay off, my motivation is thinking of the future if i was no longer chubby, i will be able to brag about myself in social media and i will be able to go outside without worrying how i look. I absolutely believe myself that i can do this, those fails i have made in the past will be the path to success. Believing myself is the only way i gain motivation.

hi Dani! great video. i always have a had time trying to find motivation on losing weight in the past, i discovered it actually have something to do with the diet as well, for example, keto actually made me feel horrible everyday and that is why i dont feel motivated on doing it, one thing i could add is find the right diet for you, like agoge diet for me, if it makes you feel better, it will also make you feel motivated
