4 years later i grew up with a blackberry phone that wasnt as fancy as this shown in the video but i had the model that was smaller with rounded corners and with the hover mouse feature where you had the main button that you can open apps with for 2 years i played on that phone and had a great time, so im fine with the people who hate blackberry phones its just fun to look back to on how i got my first phone.

What is this yelling man talking about? It's the most robust phone you can get. It fell 1000 times, the keyboard is functional and overall it's a fast phone. What do you need more?

3 years later: I finally decided to retire my BB Key2 after 3 years of day-to-day usage. The battery is slowly losing capacity and barely lasts a day, the charging connector became wobbly and very picky about the cable that would actually charge, earpiece gave but recovered after 3 days, space bar not being as responsive when hit on the right side, a small crack oh the glass around earpiece, and some faded color and minor dents on the metal frame... Normal stuff after 3 years of usage without any protective cover. Replaced it with brand new poco X3 pro.
While there's nothing inherently wrong with the hardware (apart from obvious lack of the keyboard) and the need to have a protector, all I can say that the software and overall UI design is utter garbage. I never thought I'd say that, but I miss the UX, the BB system apps and the BB launcher (they CAN be installed though but they haven't been updated in a while). Even if you disregard the keyboard, software-wise BB was one of the most usable and intuitive phones I've ever owned. Ease of adding shortcuts to every operation and the fact that system apps have so many created shortcuts (one of the great features introduced in android 7, now sadly ignored by manufacturers). Most system apps look and file like crap, and are even less useable. It's like the Android phone manufacturers decided to party like it's 2009, and give up all UI and UX improvements, and went to just dumb it down and remove all options and customizability. Even the default choice of ringtones is shit, so I had to export my ringtones from BB because they were _decent_.
