I'm French... I hesitated with a more powerful and luxurious Volvo XC90 T8 Hybrid, and very common second-hand.
Between efficiency and reliability, I am delighted to have chosen the Toyota Highlander, very comfortable and which consumes very little!
It was released in 2020, since then there have been significant taxes on vehicle weight. So here this car is not very common, around 350 registrations in 2022. I had also discovered it in Belgium.
However, it is a vehicle with a good quality/price/efficiency/maintenance cost ratio and a good resale rating.
Why didn’t you tell us the price ?
Ответитьcrossed off the to buy list after seeing the ancient infotainment system, analogue dials, and lack of buttons to fold seats. Rubbish!
ОтветитьNice but far to expensive
ОтветитьTHERE CAN BE ONLY ONE
Ответитьi'm won over by toyota's reliability
ОтветитьTwenty one hundred....
ОтветитьDepends if you wanna save on gas and not spend time in the garage than home then you take Toyota all day long but if you got so much money to waste and look posh then pay twice of this Toyota and buy Range Rover and pay more for gas and waste more on spending time in garage as this crucial economic time which it get worst every day
ОтветитьOMG! You think she would have covered up thoses ugly legs. She should of had jeans on. Cant watch anymore.
ОтветитьAbsolutely brilliant car. When the rivals are broken down or written off. This one is still going. My money went to this one. All that premium B.S no thanks
ОтветитьWhen you are considering buying a seven seater, you are likely to have multiple children. Last thing you want with kids in a car is to breakdown.
Masses of genuine and factual information, reports and statistics are available showing Toyota/Lexus have been top or close to the top for reliability. While JLR products are routinely close to the bottom.
Volvo are probably the safest, but along with German rivals are in the middle.
In the U.K. the Highlander is only offered with one trim level and engine/transmission - unlike rivals. £55k seems reasonable value. Having had a Discovery 5 and it’s faults, I would certainly look at this. Only negative I may not like is the CVT.
Toyota did good with nabbing the name Highlander, must have been a bit of a task to ensure rights to that across territories. Toyota, like many other Japanese car makers, cannot design cars to save their lives. Ugly but amazing machines.
ОтветитьThe Hylander will out last all the other rivals only the korean models will have as good reliability.
ОтветитьIts the same length as a 5 Series Saloon....so not that big really
ОтветитьOnly 2.5 litre engine? USA has a 3.5 v6
Ответить570 litres of boot space with the 3rd row of seats down seems a bit small, surprised at that.
ОтветитьI want to kick ass of this vehicle...my personal reason to be here is u and ur way of speaking...I just fell in love with u lady..though vehicle is also well built and worth buying
ОтветитьI hate Škoda and Kia/Hyunda, if I had to choose between these brands, I would go with Toyota.
ОтветитьNice car
ОтветитьWorst Scottish accent in a film. By a Frenchman
Ответить5'4 1/2 of perfection 😍
Ответитьwait until europe hears about the sienna, tundra, sequoia, tacoma, 4runner, and land cruiser lmao
ОтветитьI'm sorry, I apologise for calling you karen
ОтветитьThere can be only one!
ОтветитьSeriously... who cares about 'posh'??? Toyotas are probably the most reliable cars/SUVs on the market. I think the Kluger looks good, it's got enough tech for me, it's great to drive and they go forever. I've ordered a Kluger which I should hopefully take delivery of end of Feb, and the reason I chose it was due to the reliability and long life of them (the petrol model was the one I ordered). I've had several Toyotas over the course of my life, and, next to my Alfa Romeo 147, the Toyotas have been the best and most reliable cars I've owned. All I hear about Volvos, Peugeots and Discoveries is ppl grizzling about them being unreliable and pricey on parts and servicing.
ОтветитьDull car
ОтветитьGreat video! Also, not related with cars, but you re the most beautiful girl i ve ever seen. Too bad you re in uk or probably married :)))
ОтветитьWhy don’t European Highlanders get the 12.3 inch infotainment screen that the American ones get, and instead we have to make do with only an 8 inch screen?
ОтветитьWhat is its wheel size
Ответитьits the RELIABILITY ...RELIABILITY....honestly way more reliable than any luxury SUV you have mentioned 😊...volvo and landrover are so crappy these days not worth the money ...
ОтветитьI think a lot of people in the comments section seem to confuse reliability with quality. It's not the same thing. If you'd rather be living with a lower quality interior/ride/insulation, but only going to the garage, let's say once every two years, that's fine. Some people prefer having to fix their car twice as often while enjoying the higher quality experience every day.
ОтветитьA lot of people harping on about toyota reliability in the comment section - might i remind you that even toyotas famed hybrid system falls well short in the reliability front compared to a conventionally powered toyota vehicle. I've been working with cars for a long time and i personally know atleast a dozen toyota owners who owned hybrids that eventually crapped out after 7-10 years. If you're going to compare toyota reliability - then compare apples to apples. Toyotas hybrid cars are NOT as reliable as their conventionally powered cars. Compare their hybrids with other hybrids in the market.
ОтветитьToyota wouldn't be able to sell a lot of SUVs here in America with CVT transmissions, those things are awful!
ОтветитьBooked the top spec. 1 year wait
ОтветитьThere can be only one!
ОтветитьDoesn’t really “own” the road like a Landrover! It’s a more Argos than John Lewis.
ОтветитьNever heard of Highlander????
ОтветитьIt’s on the small side here in America because of big muricans lol 😆
ОтветитьSubaru Forester all day long
ОтветитьIt is more the length you will have issues with rather than the width. That tends to be very common in these large modern SUV's that are trying to get seven people into them.
ОтветитьI've been driving this car for 6 months now and it's an amazing experience. I'm talikng about everyday driving. It's strong, comfotable witha great km/l of fuel consumption. As for reliability? it's a Toyota, far more reliable than Nissan, Volvo or practically any other.
ОтветитьHighlander was a classic movie. I feel old now! I'd rather have one of these compared to any of its European rivals.
ОтветитьYes, I have seen the Highlander movie! Great review! You're so beautiful and sexy! I love your British accent, so hot! Greetings from sunny Florida!❤❤❤❤
ОтветитьHighander the film - "There can be only One". Other great line was "Hello Pretty" lol - great review of car
ОтветитьToyota price go to the power train and long life
Ответитьwhy is your phone so broken????
ОтветитьThe interior looks dated
ОтветитьRAMIREZZZZZZ.....
Ответитьhow llong does it take to have a christmass tree instead of dashboard in rangerover??10 000km?
