I think Neil is getting close to the real explanation of "dark matter". The speculation that there are other universes is something I couldn't argue with if it means there are objects so distant that we can't see them or that space is infinite and gravity is traveling those infiite distances and making itself felt. Scientists are very parochial in their view of space/time, speculating on curved, egg shaped universe that defies the concept of infinity. The known universe is expanding and I believe we will come to the conclusion that space and time are infinite and creation is not at all local.

Consider TIME AND time dilation ON BALANCE in conjunction WITH WHAT IS E=MC2, AS TIME is NECESSARILY possible/potential AND actual ON/IN BALANCE; AS ELECTROMAGNETISM/energy is CLEARLY AND NECESSARILY proven to be gravity (ON/IN BALANCE).
