JJ is being a bit selective here in his criteria. His three point contest experience is an interesting tidbit, Im sure Bird would have psyched him out in such a contest if they faced off in their primes. The thing is this: Larry Bird was the guy everyone knew was going to get the ball. JJ refers to 3 pt shooting percentage and Bird is not top 10, which is true...Look up the top 10 three point shooters and they were all specialists (Steve Kerr, Hubert Davis, Luke Kennard, et al), not #1 offensive options like Bird was. With the famous exception of Steve Kerr in the NBA finals, none of the top 10 are known for being guys you asked to win the game for you. Steph Curry is amazing and he's regarded by many as the greatest shooter ever and rightly so...He has been the #1 option most of his career (shared with KD when they played together). Steph is NOTA in the top 10 percentage three point shooters either...So JJ can hang onto his stat life raft but those who watched the game knew then and know now....the catch and shoot specialists are great, but shouldn't be confused with greatest (the guy driving the bus as Chuck Barkley would say)....As far as stats, the game has changed and it's preferred to take many more threes now... When Bird retired he was top two all time three pointers made...As in all of these comparisons of eras, some respect has to be given to the guys who showed what was possible and changed the game...Bird was the first superstar to make the three a legitimate part of his game and he deserves credit for that too.

Wow! Having his wish to coach Luka coming true is wild.. For everything that had to fall into place from becoming the head coach of the Lakers to being gifted Luka in a crazy trade is incredible!

Player you want to coach the most: Doncic. He must of had a smile from ear to ear when Nico gifted the Lakers. Just months into his coaching career lol.

Y’all noticed there hasn’t been a podcast between Lebron and JJ since he became the coach
Oh and just an FYI, JJ was accused of saying the N word and a lot of people went at the female cause it was soooo long ago and she brings it up now. But if yall don’t take issue with what he said in his “rap” then you are blind.

Every now and then Schultz should consider shutting the hell up and allow JJ to provide his response before cutting in and keeping the narrative on a subject that by then, had been beatin to death. On a number of occasions JJ appeared to about to be going into a story, which is always the best parts of these interviews. But because Andrew wanted to crack another joke- the thing goes left.

JJ is a dbag. Jordan hands down is the GOAT. LEBRONS A WHINER. HES WEAK ON DEFENSE. Flop king. DONT THINK JJ will ever be in anybody's top 50. Role player is an overstatement ! The 90's was the best time for hoops, 80's close second. The NBA SUCKS now. All they do is run to the three point line, no d, no pic n roll. Nothing. Lebron leads in turnovers and shots missed. He has longevity because it's a wimpy league now. Larry bird IS the greatest. Him and Jordan are the best ever. So glad Hurley got the job.
