Poetul Jems DOUGLAS ALIAS JIM MORRISON A FOST
I didn't know probably not going to be a very good defense.
Selling Mom probably going to be a death penalty crime even under the Geneva convention guidelines
The only live recording of Strange Days that I know of.
Bringing the novel ''On The Road'' to life...
Love it
If I remember right when the world trade centers went down cajon got it like nine months later
Taco the twin towers was that Cajun his his brother?
Yeah don't forget about these murders
How about some Mississippi Queen for occasions mom you're the queen Hoover Bloodline
There ya go again flashing pics of Cookie...love you forever Jamesie
When I listen to this it's evident the Doors were bound for Stardom from the very first.
They say that Morrison's shyness was difficult for him to overcome .
But from the sound on this tape , he must have already gotten over it , cause it sounds to me like he is really getting on with his performance.
There is no obvious holding back in this performance .
If I'd were a producer I'd have signed them on this performance alone.
Great historical document on their status and how long it took to get here.
Let's enjoy the remainder of the recording .
Ответитьthis early arrangement of "You make me real" is so much better than the Morrison Hotel version
John Densmore was horrible drummer to start with. This recording is the proof. Off course he developed into a great one (for the purpose of the Doors) later on.
Neo-rage, is that what our ww2 fathers fought with?
Hard to believe that they could not get a record deal.
Morrison a voice is so healthy and un damaged .
Plus where was he getting his inspiration from???
At this point he was still so green that he didn't even know yet how great he is and would become .
Less then 20 people inside the bar.
Off the dog chain.
Totally .
Can just picture it , got August night in Hollywood .
Hippies everywhere .
Marijuana smoking everywhere .
You cawalk inta local head shop and buy a
Sugar cube of LSD for
1.50$ it's still legal.
Outside the music is thumping so hard traffic is stopping ,
The sonsoul kitchen describes it all ,
The cars crawl by a stuffed with eyes....
Street light shine ....
Strange days had found us , without a doubt .
This is a true treasure .
Why was iwith held for so long????
It was all possible at this time ....
How did it all get so fucked up.
What happens TRUELY.
We shall never really know.
But I can see it all in my minds eye.
To bad there is no film
of these performances.
They were very good right from these early days.
They were already better than the Byrd's , Love all of the Hollywood bands .
No doubt.
sounds likea garage band-i luv it.
Jim probably playing with his back to the audience on here.
This isn't '66
This is great! A rare recording of one of their earliest gigs at a small club called the London Fog! They sounded great from the beginning and mix in original songs with covers.
The only sad thing is the guy who recorded and provided this show lost the second half of it that had the End on it! He is looking for the tape but can’t find it so far. It’s worth money if he can find it.
What a shame it’s lost because I’d like to hear it!
But the cup is half full so I have to be pleased with this show!
Thanks for uploading this show.
👏🏻🎸😎

Strange Daze was the best song on all this. Cutting edge.
Super
Haha, It must have been thermonuclear show w/in a megaton range yield! Thanks!
Man...! Let there's be fumky towny good Rock n' Roll Blues, from unusually Londom's Fog's reccordin' sound files! Hardly t h a n k s to the ones who put out to our very reach, unleashed terms of Doors music career on their startin' "forgoings" toward starship...!
I don’t think he wore the leather pants yet in ‘66.
LOVE THE FIRST SONG HERE...SO BLUSY!!!!!
Very sceptical
