Picture driving to work an early morning having to hear that sound. You'll never roll down the passenger window and expect to talk.

I could deal with the snorkel. But the loss of storage under the seat is a tough one. Already really small in the back seat. There have been a few of these on the lots around here and they definitely take a while to sell.

That thing sounds sick, and not in the good way.

This is a truck for people who have no actual use for a truck. You literally can’t keep anything in the bed secluded from prying eyes because of the stupid mounting design for that chase rack. There is no way to put a tonneau cover on.

I bought a Ranger Raptor at msrp and it does everything better. 😊

Get rid of the snorkel and the stupid gold wheels needs more room in the back seat. The wheels remind me of the early 2000 Lexus gold package. everyone is complaining about the 4 cylinder when they have no ideal how long they will last or be reliable. Just look at GM's BIG V8 and its the most unreliable power plant on the road right now with a stop sale and recall. How can you mess up a V8 thats been around forever.

I can buy a 1987 Yugo for 500 bucks. Throw $15,000 into it and take it anywhere I want to go off road. Bonus points is that it's a manual , so 90 percent of people under age 30 won't be able to steal it.

I got the same one except mine is in underground color i have had mine for 6 months now it's the best pickup I have ever had it's a torque beast off-road it's worth the money

Yesterday I took in my car for service at my local Toyota I saw a TRD pro Tacoma msrp was 67k dealer marked it up to 77k sadly there will be some idiot who will pay the price? This is why people hate dealerships now

After watching a lot of Delivered with Tomi, it seems Toyota Dealers are the absolute worst to deal with too. So that doesn't help.

I agree with you Ben the seats in the trd pro are silly it should be an option Toyota would sell more trucks I like the trail hunter just without the light bar I want to put a tonneau cover on the truck

They should offer this in the non hybrid powertrain and have it priced closer to $52k. Then they need to adjust pricing for the Off Road, Sport and SR5.

2025 Power Wagon tradesman - cheaper. Left over 2024 Power Wagons after rebates - cheaper. Jeep Gladiator Rubicon/Mojave - up to 20k cheaper with rebates. That $20K would get you a hemi or LS swap with a warranty.

I like the look of this truck. But the overinflated price and lack of ability to option a manual transmission because it's only available with the hybrid makes it a hard pass.

Well no one will buy it of course because of their new 4 cylinder engine. Why would Tacoma use 4 cyl engines if you can get a good ol’ 3.5l v6 engine with high payload capacity. The v6 was a very good engine and has the good reliability and simplicity to fix . All of sudden the v6 was changed into 4 cylinder engines that just went expensive and complicated.

Nice truck…but just like all the other trucks…it’s out of reach price wise

I love my new Trailhunter. Compare the Trailhunter to my old 2011 Tacoma v6, that v6 was a dinosaur. I would never go back to the old Tacoma.

I see a lot of hate, the fact is that the trail hunter with a 4 cylinder surpass the old toyota V8 in torque.
V8 = 381 HP And 401 lb-ft
I4 = 326 HP And 465 lb-tq

The only thing i don’t like about the new toyotas is the small fuel tanks

Rich people do not waste money on stuff they will not make back in investments or the stock market. They’re too worried about it so these fancy toys won’t sell.

2025 Toyota Tacoma Hybrid Bronze Trailhunter Special Edition Double Cab Half Cab 4X4!

It would be cheaper for toyota to put the 5.0L 2UR V8 in the tacos as an option, than to use the new 4 banger + turbo + hybrid + nickel battery + rewards program drivetrain.
The tooling has been up & running for over 15 years now & the cost per unit is less than half compared to when the 2UR first shipped. Keep the MSRP under 55k & they will sell every single one, no matter how manny they make.

I often have to think, “Toyota, what were you thinking”? The snorkel, for example, make that an option and have a Lowe price. The seats on the TRD Pro, make that an option.

Funny thing is this truck sold the day this video came out. LHM had a good Memorial Day discount on it.

I’m probably be the odd one here, bought my wife’s Trailhunter for Mother’s Day and she couldn’t be happier. Paid a little extra because dealer had a markup but she’s worth it.
