I believe Dad has never cooked before and video only made to promote dress shirts and cooking utensils. He makes so many basic mistakes for example, not rinsing the bicarbonate of soda out of the chicken after velveting, over complicating the preparation of the noodles and of course burning the food in the flat pan.

With dried noodles can you do the same method as shown in the video?

My first ever try at Chinese and it was really good. I wasn't too sure of the measurements but worked them out and didn't have cabbage but the end result was excellent. I just found that the recipe can be printed on the website which is a major bonus.
