Just coming across this video and I actually looked up this route on the OnX Offroad map and it seemed to have been documented awhile back of the trailing going into the canyon. It would've probably been helpful if you knew about this app to route out the trail down there!

That man speaks like he's using one of those voice covers like when they interview those people on witness protection.

I'd have to die poor back in those days. There's no way I could live in a 117 degree canyon just to find some gold. LOL

I have been subbed for awhile, and have had time to watch some of the video's in your playlist. This one was particularly interesting, because no one has been to the sight for many decade's, and it was fun anticipating what would be at the sight. Seeing that it hadn't been scavaged was so nice, and really gave it that ghost toen aura. Thank you for sharing this adventure, and G-d bless you all.

Sir, I love these type videos. I do have a ghost town suggestion for you. directly east way up in the mountains there sits the old ghost town of Como. very close to dayton nevada. the road there is absolutely terrible, that is probably why most people don't go there. when you get there, you see old rusted mining equipment, and two stone cottages with the wood roofs caved in. excavating there I am guessing you will find something. in it's time when people lived there, it had a populayion of 800 so I hear. this is my suggestion to you.

First day out there you said we don't want to be out there at night, is that because you weren't prepared or is there a danger factor?

The human race wastefully chucks stuff away in fads of fashion and money making. Then.... they go back later and dig it al up again and keep it and sell it. In another fad of culture and history and erm video making. You have to wonder why they didn't just keep it all in the first place?

You guys should have cash some water you should have cashed some water in between the bottom and the top so you wouldn't have to carry all that weight coming back up and there is one little trick that I was always taught sticker Rock in your mouth it makes your mouth salivate it don't have to be that big of a rock
