Drink up eric!!!
ОтветитьThis particular piece of music was the Stranglers drummer the late Jet Black's favourite.
RiP Jet Black
If this was the only film Cain ever did it would have been enough to make him a cult figure
ОтветитьWhat a banging baseline, totally awesome, after all these years
ОтветитьThis is my introduction to Micheal Cain as an actor and he always remained with me as a noir action movie actor.
He was so great in it. A real Chad actor.
I think that if the British had an ideal Brit that they wanted to represent them, it would have been Micheal Cain.
The end of the cultural 60's, wistful, but it hides the tears through grim defiance.
ОтветитьMy kind of Jazz, that bassline is KILLER!
ОтветитьGOODBYE,ERIC!!🧐
ОтветитьLook out for the old geezer with 6 fingers in the Newcastle pub
ОтветитьKiller tune 1luv 😎... Your a big bloke....
Ответитьloved lvoed the theme. THey have used Tabla - insane..
ОтветитьRIP Mike Hodges 💜💜💜
ОтветитьFantastic movie, Fantastic soundtrack.
ОтветитьMike Hodges classic work.
ОтветитьIm danny dyer and this is deadliest dickheads
ОтветитьIf you have a keen eye keep em peeled for the old boy when Jack goes to the pub. The old boy having a pint has SIX fingers
ОтветитьSly Stallone liked this
ОтветитьAnother brilliant masterpiece of a movie and score from yesterday. Makes one weep, when one compares it, to the crap produced today
ОтветитьCrap. Grates on ears.
ОтветитьThey don't get any better than get carter 1971 Caine the master actor the modern Laurence Olivier
Ответитьits all in the bass......
ОтветитьI can't decide between this and the Bullitt theme?
ОтветитьMy favourite film . Cheers sir michael
ОтветитьDanny dyers deadliest men
ОтветитьYour a big man, but your out of shape. Hang on I had a note from me mum, and I didn't have my P.E.kit.
ОтветитьSuperb theme From what was certainly " A Ground Breaking Film within its particular genre!! And Michael Caine's " Iconic Status " Will " Always " Be Synonymous With " Get Carter " !!!! From Adrian Browne 1965
ОтветитьAn actor who can say more with one look than most actors can say with 3 pages of dialogue.... true class Sir Michael love you always sir ❤
ОтветитьOne of my all time fav movies!! Get well soon Sir Michael. Must visit Geordyland one day soon! Why eye the toon!
ОтветитьCool as f*ck theme. One of Michael Caine's best movies.
Ответитьthis is just the films opening credits with a still photo....
ОтветитьClassic
ОтветитьI'm watching 👀it now!👍👍
ОтветитьGreat tune. Also clearly an inspiration for Todd Terje's superb 'Oh Joy'
ОтветитьThe Human League did a minimal synth cover of this. Both versions are parts of my childhood. "You're a big man, but you're in bad shape. With me, it's a full time job, now behave yourself!"
ОтветитьThis is best Hammond Organ solo of all time. Jimmy Smith would have been proud to have this in his hands.
ОтветитьI think Michael Caine would have Made a FANTASTIC JAMES BOND....
Ответить"Goodbye Eric".
ОтветитьGoodbye ERIC!!
ОтветитьThis brings back wonderful memories of my childhood in Gateshead and the northeast. I remember going to the top of the famous carpark with my younger brother. I remember the voices of the people in the exchange telegraph who provided commentary to the horse racing in my grandma’s betting shops. Even the jazz bands. All this and the best ever Brit gangster film. But Britt Ekland..........wow
ОтветитьLegend!
ОтветитьGreat movie \m|
ОтветитьSylvester Stallone version is better
ОтветитьFantastic theme and brilliant film.
Ответить1971-2021: 50 years. Happy birthday, Jack! Best British gangster film ever. Yeah, that's right. I put this over "The Long Good Friday" (1981) and "The Krays" (1990). This theme still is great.
ОтветитьClassic, love it.
ОтветитьTo think it was made for TV.
ОтветитьThe 70s were great for movie spundtracks
ОтветитьMagnificent 👏🏼
ОтветитьGreat theme, great movie Mr Caine at his best. Sadly they don't make movies like this anymore.
ОтветитьGTA London
