Hey, idk if y’all have touch this topic already but can y’all touch on what a film editor Instagram page supposed to look like?
ОтветитьI was quite confused about my decision to take on a career in Filmmaking and editing.
But this video gave me clarity.
Thank you for such amazing content.
Thank you.
So much knowledge here.
Awesome tips! Thanks guys!
ОтветитьHow the heck can you hold that fidget and edit at the same time?
Ответитьjust found out about this channel, it-s so great.
ОтветитьSo much importants insights😮
ОтветитьThis has been fantastic!
I am here because I am a Stay and had seen Jordans reaction videos to Straykids M/Vs.
I stuck around because his perspective is so insightful.
Can't wait until the next podcast about Art of the Cut
fidget cube is such a good idea, i get so impatient doing the boring bits and lose focus quickly
ОтветитьGreat vid
ОтветитьThank you Jordan and Hayden! Raza :)
Ответитьlove the interview. good video
ОтветитьGreat episode guys 👍
Really enjoyed it
I'm in my car a lot for my work. How would you go about learning to edit on an iPhone? Currently, I only learn when I'm at home using Premiere Pro on an outdated laptop.
Ответитьdo you recommend any good Davinci resolve courses? switching from mac and FCP to pc/davinci, a barely got competent on FCp and trying to switch to resolve has been so frustrating, tried guide videos but really need some hands on training to really "get it" would be happy to pay! i see a few courses from editing creators but got decision paralysis on which would work best for me. Please Help?!
Ответитьgosh as someone who's gonna graduate soon and is planning to study film production in uni, I can't even begin to describe how valuable this podcast is to me!! It has helped me think more about how I can improve, what issues to anticipate and overall just get excited about it, thanks guys!
ОтветитьI edit for easily 5 years now. But never in a professional setting. My own channel is the closest I got to "professional" since it is monetized. But while I have learned how to get views I have still not figured out how to make the viewers happy. But I keep digging and learning. I am sure eventually I will figure it out. That's why I watch your podcast to understand more about the process. This is already the second video on this channel and I am also watched Hillier Smiths' videos to get better. One step at a time. This knowledge doesn't just help me but I also teach it to my editors I am working with to get better in our niche.
ОтветитьI feel validated as a filmmaker listening to these pods!
Love these 🙏🏼🙂
Good job guys, ill read the book aha
ОтветитьI'm an editor too, but I want to edit less and rather have an editor or two help out with all the editing. The problem with sites like Fiverr and freelance websites, is that you can't really know what is a good editor. Wish there was a type of exchange website for editors with people that have had the right story building and editing expertise and experience... Anyone know what way to approach this?
ОтветитьI FRIGGIN LOVE YALL MAN. Great info and thank you for making this accessible! ❤️
ОтветитьI have loved the thumbnail 😂😂😂
ОтветитьHayden talks about his fiddle cube
me opens and closes AirPods case repeatedly
build an interesting fire, and people will come get warm
ОтветитьIf anyone is watching this from the east coast go to Full Sail University! It’s an incredible school for anything creative.
Ответить🤔
ОтветитьInteresting! It’s really nice to have more vocal video editors in this era! It’s time for us to stop staying humble inside our editing caves haha!!
ОтветитьI don't normally sit through podcasts, but this one was way more realistic and advisable than any other.
ОтветитьThis is not left and right sides war
That called ADHD
Thanks fam! Btw lets work together :)
ОтветитьThis is one of my favorite podcasts in the whole world
Ответить90% of the work I get to this day is from relationships I made in college/film school.
Ответитьyoo, can someone recomend some advanced video editing or vfx skillshare course
Ответитьhighlights are clipped on jordan's shiny forehead.
ОтветитьAs a student at Full Sail University for Digital Cinematography who wants to be an editor finding this podcast has been amazing.
ОтветитьA funny bit of information about the Jack of all trades saying, is that the original Shakespeare quote was longer. "Jack of all trades is a master of none, but oftentimes better than a master of one."
Ответитьlearn from great editors, Ferris Websters, Anne Coates, and many others.
ОтветитьLove your podcast!
ОтветитьNot a huge fan of podcasts. However I'll be watching everyone in this series ...probably a few times.
Much respect. 💪😃👍
