Für die Rivella Flasche im Hintergrund einfach mal 10/10 Punkten
Ebenso für die Synthwave Muckke untendrunter. Asozial lecker
Wow..great job bro..for the tools you just needs buy all just one time to DIY many things you want..now i need buy the simple tools fisrt, then mybe i will try to DIY something..
ОтветитьThe result is aesthetically pleasing. However, I believe that the blade of an axe that can be worked with a file cannot be any sharper than that of a butter knife. I think that a heat treatment of the steel would have been necessary.
ОтветитьYou have used tools that everyone has or can afford. No thousands of dollars milling machines
ОтветитьSuper cool! Thanks mate!
Ответитьyou bought an $8 ax, put $120 worth of work and energy into it, and ended up with a $20 ax. Congratulations.
ОтветитьBrilliant!
ОтветитьYour missing your ppe personal protection equipment.
ОтветитьHallo Felix,
ОтветитьThe sound of the drill and file would be a vast improvement over the damn back ground racket......the noise is terrible......
Ответитьbeautifully made! it's just a pity that you don't show how well you can carve wood with it, where is the 'outstanding carving ax' part in practice? I think for $8 the quality of the steel is so poor that you can only make it look nice. But otherwise nicely done.
ОтветитьThat 8 dollar hatchet is now 25 dollars
ОтветитьOne helluva workshop.
A beautiful piece of work!
Great work ! Done one following your explanations. Was fun to do, thank you ! What thickness have you used for the leather sheath ? 2mm ?
ОтветитьVery good work 🌺🌺
ОтветитьWish I knew where that was cuz our hardware stores are more expensive than the big box stores and none of them would have an $8 axe anymore. (that starts off that nice anyway... think composite handle and garbage head and probably still $30+)
Ответитьlooks awesome! i would have gone the extra mile of welding those stamp marks in, but thats just personal preference, i guess.
ОтветитьBeautiful, thanku
ОтветитьYou could have drilled a hole into the file and used angled woodblock AS guide with Simple screw or nail to get perfect profile
ОтветитьNice video. Nice result.
ОтветитьDoom kicks different
ОтветитьLet's see, wear a mask 😷 🧪💉. Get a life
ОтветитьThe best of the best! Thank you
ОтветитьI use an Estwing, hatchet + sledge, in one. I'll never use another splitting hatchet, tbh. I have tried just about every hatchet, and it's the best IMO.
Cool video though.
Al quitar tanto material le ha quitado mucho peso y por tanto también capacidad de corte. Un hacha con el mango negro se pierde muy fácil en el bosque.
Ответитьthat's DOPE!
ОтветитьI don’t get it, did I miss a bit or some’at ? It started as an axe and after a load of faffing about , it ended up an axe, I don’t get it ……
ОтветитьI watch videos like this to learn things that I can use. The rag trick for sharpening was very interesting. Never seen that before. Taking the paint off the head and handle is cosmetic work, not functional, but I can see doing that. I'm not sure why you cut away part of the underside of the head unless it was purely to lighten the hatchet. Am I missing something?
ОтветитьNa ja.
ОтветитьI have an axe a clown attacked my Dad with at the boat ramp.
Dad broke his wrist, beat his ass, and after the cops showed up the clown got 90 days in jail.
It needs a new handle. I should do this in memory of Dad.❤❤❤
I know this is old but bro I hope you stop blasting the most annoying and garbage music through your whole video.
ОтветитьBro you do s** the hard way. Props to you tho!
ОтветитьThat's my dream turn $8 into $200.. Killers Instincts ahhhhhh...
ОтветитьThe music is good for partying. It’s atrocious for DYI channels.
ОтветитьOf course, this transformation began with good steel. It went on to require a good deal of hand work. My time has been worth a great deal of money. Yours must also be valuable. The end result is something special...but not something inexpensive.
Ответитьok got it!... buy an axe reshape it and refinish the handle!!! 15 minute video for something that could have been adequate in 3! cool idea though
ОтветитьNicely done. I would have thinned the handle a bit, as that shape is not the most comfortable for a hatchet handle, though. But very nice carving hatchet indeed. Thanks for sharing.
ОтветитьAn Awesome transformation, I am just starting to make one like this, found an old hatchet in the woods with a broken handle. Great Video.
ОтветитьHi @FelixImmler! May I ask what did you use to get this nice dark finish for the handle? I love how it looks, but it doesn't look like it's just simple charring 😅
ОтветитьНе закалил😂
ОтветитьWhat is the soundtrack please?
Ответитьa man wearing a mask must be an idiot. It's not worth listening to advice from idiots
ОтветитьThat's some crazy ass-whooping craftsmanship right there, chief. You have an incredible talent.
Thanks for sharing. Now I got some ideas from you.
Transform yes.... but lip stick on a pig, is just that. A cheap axe, or Hatchet; I have a Harbor Freight Hatchet... is Very cheap quality Steel. It must Be Mad out of Recycled Levi Strauss Rivets.
I ban Make it scary sharp, The the Swing , through the air dulls the edge. No Substitute for Quality. Thats why I Quit using U.S.A. Brand Hunting knives, and Now use A Finnland Pukko Carbon Steel Knive.
А смысл, я понимаю функционал увеличился а так просто мужику в радость руками поработать. Респект умельцу.
ОтветитьGreat job transforming the axe into a real beauty!
I'd have done the leather jobs a little differently - you made some extra work for yourself in a couple of the steps you did = if the leather for the handle had been dampened with warm water first, it would have moulded more to the handle shape and been a lot easier to lace up. (It gets really pliable, almost like putty - but best leave it to dry before using thread or lace on it)
Great work. I always like to see anything built by hand. Thanks for sharing
