When me and my dad watched this film my dad said after this part that German pilot is going to get told off by his superior officer or his superior officer will have him killed. Or demoted.

If u wanna be technical preaty boy screw the inter base normal pilot would bail out or make an emergency landing than lead enemies to the base especially if you know your being followed

Typical US patriotical Bullshit 🤮If you want to know how effictive German Flak and the Luftwaffe was in truth you should read historical Books like Pierre Clostermanns big Show.
There are many doubts about the number of kills reported by American pilots, which are quite justified. Pierre Clostermann, a French fighter pilot in english service who also worked on the Staff between his active pilot days, has also expressed this. During the time by the Staff he had access to the total number of shot downs of German fighters collected by all the Allied air forces. The allies also were well aware of the production counts of the German aircraft industry and Pierrer wrote in his book "The Big Show" that alone after the shot downs claimed by the US Air Force, the Lufwaffe should not have existed anymore in 1943! Pierre wrote also it was compareable easy for an US fighter Pilot to get a shot down on his kill list.
So it is like it is, The US Americans are big loudmouths who only achieved anything through great numerical and material superiority.

Even while unrealistic, I did really enjoy this movie.
But I was a kid when I saw this, not a history nerd so that's why I love it so much - the action and explosions fit my entire age demographic.
I'm 19 now.

Wow, I never noticed how awful and over the top some of the CGI and VFX looked in this movie. It's a shame, really because I love the premise of the film.
