Problem with authoritarians regimes in Global South is the next dictator is akaays lurking to takeover. In addition there are two many civil wars in the Global South like China vs India, Armenia vs Azerbaijan, Sudan civil war all being exploited by Global North so no way Global South can compete economically or militarily unless they become unified basically Global South dictators must come under authority of Global South super powers Russia and China. Youi see this happening in the middle east. Russia propped up Assad in Syria, Russia helping Iran. China brokered Saudi Arabia Iran normalization deal so slowly authoritarians in Global South are coming under the military and economic leadership of Rissia and China Once this happens in entirety where Russia and China gain autonomy stop coups in Global South and the authoritarians become defacto vassals of Russia and China aka come under centralized control of Russia and China the Global South will be able to be more effective at pushing back against Global North both militarily and economically. I think President Xi and Putin know this and this is way they are pushing for normalization in middle east between Sunnis and Shias specifically Saudis and Iran. Russia is pushing the military strategy for unifying Global South and China is pushing the economic strategy for unifying the Global South.

Putin wanted Wagner & Ukraine to neutralize each other. The very opposite happened. Both Ukraine & Wagner got stronger.
