Fallout 4's Next Gen Update is BROKEN!

Think that just means the Xbox can put out 60fps with out loss

it’s been months since the next gen update, and i still don’t have access to mods

I can't even load my saves. Lame

on pc with 32 gigs ram i would looove it if loading times were even close to where they were before the update

Worst part is that I have a series S, means I need to have this decade old game in my internal storage to play it and I only have 360gb maximum

Bro, before the next gen update, i was able to walk thru the city areas no problem. Now? Crash almost immediately when im near them. How tf is anyone supposed to fix that?

I dunno man, I’m pretty sure most the people doin those tests got real nice internet connection. Performance mode isn’t for gaming consoles that already run 60fps, which I bet is what the rich game reviews got. Imagine using optifine for Minecraft on a $5000 pc meant to run Minecraft as best as possible. It probably wouldn’t make a difference. Now play Minecraft with and without optifine on a $300 hp office laptop and see the difference it makes in performance

I see this as solid evidence that whoever is working on this game does not enjoy or take pride in their work whatsoever.

This game is over a decade old give it up with nitpicking graphics upgrade. Ask them to fast track their development of fallout 5.

Bethesda is slowly breaking a 9 year old game, broke a 16 year old game, has a 14 year old game that doesn't work properly without mods and a 6 year old game that at the beggining of its existence was the worst game in the series (idk about now i haven't played fallout 76 yet)

The problem is that the public demands a lot of impossible things and Microsofts wants to make money. So the poor engineers has to run and learn new tecjs to improve something that is.. extremely hard to achieve.

They tried to pull a cyberpunk but they somehow managed to pull on something else in the game code that broke everything and i find it funny that the most downloaded mod for it (to my knowledge atleast) is one to downgrade it lol

And on the older Xbox One, the option isn't even available. That sucks because it could really use a performance mode. Fighting the Enclave at 20fps is a bit stressful.

It stands to reason they know how this stuff works, so they MUST be lying! But WHY??? If they just don't want to do it, can't they just say, "we'd rather put our energies into present and future things, not a game from the past."? Why do the update in the first place?? I can't get the game to run decently on series X with the add on all running, just Nuka World cause I LOVE it lol.

My only bug is not being able to complete the Preston Garvey mission bc I can’t talk to him

Not to mention all the mods in my favorites are all missing in game but show up on the website. After the crapshow that was starfield and now this I will no longer be touching any future bethesda project even ES6 I have no trust in this company anymore.

Or perhaps its the fact i cant load any of my fucking saves because the game crashes immediately which sucks. I literally have 7 mods installed, thats it. Pisses me off because i desperately want to play it

Dog, my rig can run Cyberpunk at high buttery smooth yet struggles in Central Boston and straight up crashes in Boston on next gen. Bethesda seriously made a fat blunder here.

It was such a slimy f**king move.
